The only thing stopping T2 from being the indisputable GOAT film is the meandering middle act. But the first and final act are a pure masterclass of cinema.

T1 is the leaner version of T2 and I prefer it to the sequel. It's haunting - the penultimate grind house film that is high concept cinema.

Definately T2, both well made stylish action films with great set peices but T2 has a lot more heart to it.

Love them both. I think I am going to go with the Matrix. I don't think there is a wrong choice personally.

Im gonna go with the matrix. To someone thats never seen either, matrix is a mind fuck. Plus, seeing regular actors doing martial arts choreography and looking good doing it is nuts. Quite the unpredictable story.

T2 is simpler but thank god for that. It works perfectly.

However, i always prefer T1 to T2. Id say because of my bias to horror, but its cuz i eventually noticed Cameron likes a lot of blue lighting in his backgrounds. You see it in T2, Abyss, True Lies. It takes me out cuz its a bit cheesy. For example, when the t1000 is beating arnold with a pipe, the music, and the spotlight behind them just kills me. We get it cameron, your favorite color is blue..

Maybe why that mediocre avatar hard on of his has so many blue people...
