Kamala Khan as always is so adorable and I bet she's going to be the best thing about the movie.

That's my feel exactly.
It's a comedic take... but it still all goez together into teh whole (or hole... lol) but MCU has now trumped "power over power" in teh universe so much that I guess this is what we're left with. I don't mind it as long as it's done well, but I'm glad to see from quantumania that we're getting a background story-line that actually pushez teh "ultimate power" premise that teh hole universe is based upon.

This does too... obviously, since Cap. Marvel can hold his/her own against teh best... so we do get a bit of that, along with what seems to be a fun & entertaining laugh about it all.

Yeah, Kamala is what is going to get me to see this in the theater. Not expecting much, but it seems like it could at least be some light fun. I enjoyed her show, she has an infectious positive energy that hopefully rubs off on the rest of them.

No joke. Larson is like a dead fish in terms of charisma. Total screen killer.

It's her friend's daughter the young girl in Captain Marvel. And she was in wandavision as a side character.

Ok I do remember that now and she got her powers in Wanda Vision. I wasn't a fan of Wanda vision so I don't remember it that much.

Well we don't really know how long it was Talos (a Skrull) and not really Nick fury. Talos as Nick fury was in Spiderman far from home, but he was in post credit scene in infinity war he was dusted/blipped.
And forget which series/movie showed him on the same station in this trailer.

It looks like it could be fun, humor feels like typical Mcu humor though. I really like Kamala, she plays the Super-fan with powers very well. I just don’t know about Nia DaCosta as Director, the only thing I’ve seen her direct was the latest Candyman and I hated that. I want this to be good, however the MCU’s quality has been steadily going downhill so we’ll see.

Had no expectations for this (didn't care for the first movie, don't really watch TV so didn't watch either of the shows that appear to be required viewing for this to make any sense) and watching the trailer has only confirmed what I've been suspecting for a while: I'm done with the MCU. I'll watch GotG3, but I haven't watched any of the D+ stuff, skipped most of the recent movies, and nothing else on the schedule has my interest. Might come back for whatever X-Men reboot they do, probably will watch Deadpool 3, but all the main line stuff is pretty dead to me.

Oh well.

Cap Rambo just brings nothing to the table. Such a meh character. If she could not shine in WandaVision, I doubt she does it now.
I just can't seem to pass my bleh attitude toward Larson. I bet she's a lovely person and a great actress, but her portrayal of this character so far has been rigid.

Kamala... I'll let her pass. Let the girl make her way.

All that said, I have to go to the cinema for this. My little girls would kill me if we didn't see it Day 1.

I'm sat in hospital having an infusion pumped into me and I'd read your comment before I went to watch the trailer and I still ended up bursting out laughing and making 2 other guys look at me....

I liked the trailer , Brie I get the feeling has been told to act that way, serious , galaxy saving warrior hero as a juxtaposition to KK. Towards the end of the trailer there's a clip of the 3 in a spaceship and she's grinning..I get the feeling she's kind of forgotten how to relax and by the end she'll actually come across much better...if not.. TITS!

Just re-watched it. Love the kittens running down the stairs , a Flerkin horde ?

And KK's mum when Captain Marvel turns up and she's like " Where is our daughter?" Shivers.

funniest part of the trailer for me. I still haven’t watched the Disney + show and certainly have to do so before this movie, but it’s clear just from the trailer that the actress playing Kamala is awesome.
