I fucking loved the first season. Gina's acting is pretty shitty but IDGAF I'd still lick her feet so she gets a pass from me. The last episode had my cracking up and hit Muhhh Feels. Perfect ending to the season.

I hit up Celebration earlier this year in Chicago, was pretty fun. Lots of amazing cosplay
Next one is in Anaheim. I’ve never cosplayed, but would love to dress as this, complete wth man-satchel just to ruffle some feathers

I had always hoped to see the Empire hunt down every Jedi and every clone as a kid. Like when I was a kid I thought being a clone was probably illegal in the clone wars and it was a big, complex thing and the empire just solved it with brute force.

Mass murder , genocide , executions without a trial , use of torture , a "join us or die" philosophy , construction of multiples WMD , ruled through fear and intimidation etc etc

They had a working system alright but it was pure fascism

Correct and you gotta look at the canon material outside of the movies and tv series to see what happened to them (IE : The Lords Of The Sith comic and stuff like that). Ryloth , Mandalore and others all tried to resist imperial rule and it didn't end very well for them. Palps and Vader were not fucking around

Basically if the Empire wanted you , either you joined them or you were mass slaughtered. There was no in between

depends on where in the saga as well. if its during the events of the mandalorian then she will need to be what, late 30s or early 40s?

They can get around a lot of that. Apparently her species lives to 100 years old and it's not uncommon for force users to have longer life spans. They could probably just cast anyone 25-50 especially under the make up. Ming-Na or whatever her name is that played the assassin on Tattoine is close 60 years old.

I feel I could find a way to slow their growth and show them compassion. All children need is a good home, firm boundaries and not to be blown up by the Death Star

I'm all for the argument that Anakin murdered children and that was the wrong thing to do, but those clone slave kids on Alderaan were never going to make it. In the time between the battle of Scarif and the capturing of Leia at least 2 generations were born, abused, and died.
