I saw an amazing comic book picture of a yoda like teenage with mandalorian armor leading other mandalorians in a fight. It also had beings from the Yoda like mandalorian fighting with them. I believe that you will see mandalorian future in the Star Wars universe with this mandalorian child Yoda now a teenage.

I enjoyed it. Still feels like I'm watching a live action cartoon but I can roll with it. Watching through that lens smooths the rough edges.

I'd give the series roughly a 7/10 so far.

When the Tie was going down I was thinking Mando, er, uh, D-whatever his name is should've flown over and immediately finished off the Moff. That's a detail people that experienced in combat wouldn't overlook.

Secondly, a minor point--I think the Moff or a random trooper should've taken out the power supply with an explosive. A single pistol shot seems too easy. If the weapon can be taken out that easy it's a liability as much as an asset.

For me the the episode had too many things like the easily exploding cannon, it was constantly pulling me out of the action.

-IG-11 catching up with the speeder bikes.
-Self referential troopers cant shoot scene (reminded me of the intro scene in TLJ), to 80s saturday morning cartoon, after how intense the ending of last episode was this felt like a let down.
-Mando's (literal) plot armor, troopers dont miss him, he just no sells like the undertaker.
-Add video game health packs now, just like in Residen Evil he went from limping to 70% health with a first aid spray .
-IG-11 being to OP, why dont they just mass produce those things? Dont give me use of droids is prohibited, in RO they had that robot (that was also OP) , also the empire are bad guys its not like they would care about rewritting some rules when they are exploding planets with the death star.
-Flame trooper walking all bad ass when you knew he was going to be put away easily with a shot to his back pack or Yoda sending the flames back (as he did).
-The flipping attitude from fighting 30 storm trooper then going to "Oh no we cant take on like 5 troopers" .


6.5/10 for me.

I gotta rewatch this soon. I got the impression they changed into street clothes and blended in with society and escaped. If they were inspected at a checkpoint with Mando armor, might be trouble.

Yeah, the armorer made it seem that they all fought, and she thought some might have escaped. As to whether they would dump their armor to do so was left vague and open to interpretation.

A thing that confuses me with star wars, is why are the Jedi so mysterious?
I feel like its been one generation since they were basically the military wing of the republic, since the republic didn't have a standing army

I mean its only 19 years between 3 and a New Hope
I would think that I could get why the Force would be a legand/wives tail - there's no other magic in the galaxy so I'd expect anyone who never saw it to be skeptical, but the idea that the Jedi order itself is not common knowledge is kind of strange

I always wondered that myself. My guess is that Palps and the Empire wiped all records of their existence so only those who lived through the clone wars era/before the purge know that they were real and not a myth. And talking about the Jedi during imperial rule may have been illegal and punishable by immediate execution or something like that so people were scared shitless to even mention the word Jedi.

Its a big stretch but its the only thing i can think of.
