Also, there was a big foreshadowing of the baby yoda having force powers. So I was expecting him to show it at some point soon after.

YEAH, it's my least favorite. I don't think you can speak to that.

You know why the answers to this kind of mystery are almost always disappointing?

It's because writers often don't even know them when they start seeding the mystery. The entire point is the mystery, not the answers. Lost and Breaking Bad were famous for this, and both can blame their ridiculously bad endings on them.
 
I wish Disney would release entire seasons at once so we could binge watch it. The fact that they didn't leads me to believe this will somehow tie into RoS since the finale should be right around the time it is released.
 
TBH, i'm kind of happy Disney is releasing the episodes like they are.
Builds up a bit of anticipation and can generate some solid conversations/speculation.

IIRC, Beskar'gam, aka, Iron Skin is incredibly important to Mandalorian culture. Many groups have tried to buy the secret methods of forging Mandalorian armour, but the Mandalorians refuse to sell it at any price.

I think they knew how big this series would be and wanted to avoid everyone gettjng the free week of disney plus and then jetting.
 
My take on the first episode is mixed ..

The first 20 mins where great, atmosphere was great, the dirty storm troopers where fucking awesome ... i swear i got a semi.. i know its normal..

The second half was like the A team .. it had Rocky music .. it was just FUCKING WEIRD AS FUCK .. it was like 2 completely different tv shows.. I will watch the second Episode when i get a chance and im not drunk/.

I mean, I don't think so. I see people in this thread talking about it but I don't think that's gonna happen. They can't rely on a series on their streaming network to set up their tentpole movie. If baby Yoda shows up out of the blue most of the audience is just gonna be all wtf?
