But that solution is part of my problem, Yoda being a X-men instead of being a trained warrior.
That also a similar feat to what Master Yoda did to show Luke the force, meeh not digging that part.
He maybe twice her age, but he shits in his pants so advantage Rey. (and I hate Mary Sue Rey)
2/10 cuz no lightsabers.
This whole no lightsabers in any SW material going forward is starting to fucking piss me the fuck off.
Why are people tripping out on this. Holy shit.Just watched the second episode. I never thought of Mandolorian being a religion. Interesting concept. Maybe that female from the first episode is like a priestess.
way better? How bad did you think the first episode was?Episode 2 was way better than the first episode. It felt like a Genndy Tartakovsky standalone story. Baby Yoda is so cute. The Jawas were funny. Disappointed in how the alien rhino was killed, thought it wasn't totally believable.
Thought the first episode was pretty good actually. Just omit the "way" in my last statement.way better? How bad did you think the first episode was?

There are times I will revisit a movie and adjust the rating after processing it after a few days. I usually would put "preliminary rating" when I'm still not totally fixed on the rating. As for TLJ, I did score it around 6-ish initially and made lots of criticisms. Since I was one of the first posters here who saw TLJ, a lot of people were a bit angry/disappointed at me for scoring it so low. Some didn't believe me and thought I was just being too critical or nitpicky.Random question
Whenever you leave a movie rating like TLJ 4/10
Is that your original rating or do you ever go back and change it?
Did I remember wrong that you rated TLJ higher?

Nobody knows the truth about biology of that species, including you. They are a complete mystery. The only proof that Yoda wasn't the only member was that brief glimpse of that female version in the Senate in the prequels. For all we know, this baby is a clone of Yoda.Baby Yoda using the force is up there with Rey using the force with no trainning as far as crappy moments.
In the OT we believed Yoda was that good cause he had trained for hundreds of years, now we know his race is born like that mehhh.
RotS had some good battle scenes but the movie as a whole is unwatchable due to the horrifically bad acting. In case you forgot how bad it was-Come on, son. From what I hear, Mandalorian shits on the sequels and PM/CW. So does the Clone Wars animated seriesBut Revenge of the Sith is up there with the OG Trilogy, simply because we got to see Prime, Healthy, Motivated, Full Training Camp Sidious with That Look in his eyes. Hell, just the Order 66 montage is better than anything in most Star Wars movies

I'm actually slightly dissapointing we see force powers already. I was actually looking forward to a series where force powers and lightsabers and Jedi weren't a part of the narrative. Not really a big deal. I assume yoda baby storyline will reach an end at some point. Perhaps season two will be completely force-less.
If weapons and presumably armor are considered sacred then the makers of those sacred objects would probably be held in high esteem. Plus she mentioned taking care of foundlings (orphans) which in westerns is typically done by a priest or nun.Why are people tripping out on this. Holy shit.
She was a blacksmith.
No,more. No less.
In some cultures Blacksmiths were revered because of their prowess. Tubal-Cain comes to mind as one of the first.
Also working with beskar steel is supposedly hard as fuck and it's rare as fuck, so yes just one pauldron from it would be coveted.
I'm still pissed there is no lightsabers and i can point this out.

The Yoda species (they dont even have a name) were the last great mystery of the Star Wars universe. I thought it was brilliant how they build-up to "the asset's" reveal never hinted at it- it was one of the best plot twists in recent memory. Even the most die-hard Star Wars fans would have never guessed it. But it makes so much sense in retrospect- what else could be this rare and valuable in the post-Empire world?I'm actually leaning towards one of two things. The doctor in the first episode wanting it alive I feel is due to wanting to harvest the midichloroans or something. Soni kinda lean toward clone. But how did they lose it?
Being Yodas child would kid of do the character dirty because it means he broke his vows. Unless his species reproduces differently. Sorta like Jerry in Enemy Mine. "Just happens". So if it is his child I think that's how they get around it.
TPM was also good because of Darth Maul, the Pod race and the dynamics between Obi and Qui-GonCome on, son. From what I hear, Mandalorian shits on the sequels and PM/CW. Right I'm not disagreeing with this I'm just saying I'm not worried he is showing some semblence of respect to a fellow warrior chick. If weapons and presumably armor are considered sacred then the makers of those sacred objects would probably be held in high esteem. The real crime was that it had good actors (McGregor, Portman, Lee, Smits, etc) yet still felt like an amateur HS play because of the inept directing. The only good performance was General Grievous, thanks to the ILM nerds.
I hear the Clone Wars cartoons are much better, but I havent watched them yet. I have played KOTOR though, and I thought that had a better storyline that the original trilogy. Better acting too.
