I am down with this series. Episode two was fun, with some awesome visuals.
I like that he's just not sure how to handle the child. Like just picks it up and puts it back in the baby carrier. Not all cutesy or doting on it.
And I appreciate the gritty take on it. He gets banged up, his stuff gets wrecked, etc.
Yeah, they explicitly drew inspiration from Leone and Kurosawa and you can see it.Really liking the series so far. Favreau knows how to write scenes with minimalist/no dialogue, there also some nice tributes to westerns and old samurai movies.
The Dewdrop character creation was lazy as fuck, they just put legs on a tadpole.
The Dewdrop is from Rebels.
o it's not a new creation, it's an old callback.

“In talking with Jon [Favreau], I was asking him what I should be looking at? I know he loves movies, I love movies…He immediately brought-up Sergio Leone and Akira Kurosawa.”
I'm a huge fan of Jawas and was loving this episode. I need to work on my Jawaese don't want to sound like a Wookie
I love Star Wars.
Filthy creatures, was hoping he'd torch some more of them
How dare you. I won't feel bad when I steel all your stuff now.

nobody there to put the kibosh on disintegrations, might as well go nutsSniping Jawas like gophers...lol love it!!!
Throw them all in the Sarlacc pit. Then drop thermal detonators down the hole, then death star the planet.
Also it was badass to see him use the rifle using cartridges and seeing him take them from his armor.Sniping Jawas like gophers...lol love it!!!
