No one?

I liked it, though I did expect a bit more. There was a moment or two which was a bit odd or cliche (the alien chicken rotisserie would make sense in the OG trilogy but not in 2019).

The end was... OK, I guess, made me that much more interested in the story. I thought it would be
either an R2 unit or a wookie, but this was fine too
.

Will continue to watch, but this alone does not make me wanna buy Disney+

Lol i watched this online

They are already pumping the episodes out on torrent sites in 4k.

Are you saying there is more than the first episode out there already?

Sorry should have been more clear. They only have the first episode out so far.

Ah ok, haha. I was about to get all over that if they had more episodes out. I really enjoyed the first and I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes.

I didn't mind it definitely enough to keep watching, there was good and bad

The music at times was ill fitting I thought (especially when they were riding those slug things) not sure what they were thinking.

Holy shit was that Nick Nolte as the Ugnaught thing?

Yea only episode 1 is out. I use Kodi and it was.on there in it's 4k glory with real.debrid

The whole learning how to ride a sperm thing could have been cut out.

I think they want a The Good, The Bad, The Ugly in Space vibe.

They came close in a few spots, like when Mando came through the door to the tavern in the opening scene, and the main theme, but the ride across the desert was a hard miss.

I also think the first episode was really underwhelming. The production values seem fine, but everything feels pretty static. I don't know anything about cinematography, but I'm inclined to blame either the way it's shot or the direction. Something about the show feels lifeless. Like when the other Mandalorian was banging on that pauldron, you can clearly see that she's barely tapping it (they just tried to sell it by covering the screen with sparks). All the action felt like that to me; big moments that are supposed to be impactful but come off very lethargic.

I hope it gets more interesting.

Episode beat my expectations. Most Star Wars stuff is absolute garbage it was decent.

The Man(dalorian)With no Name;)

A bit underwhelming.

I think they made a huge mistake with the guy they cast for the main thug in the bar in the opening scene. His acting was so staggeringly mediocre it set a terrible tone for the episode, especially considering how hard they had to lean on his dialogue.

Music was pretty bad, too. Granted, my standards for Star Wars music are pretty high, but they didn't get anywhere close.

Not sure I'm going to be all that interested in Star Wars if it's all blasters and droids, the action kind of left me cold.

They're really pushing into that PG rating. All those bodies, I don't think a single drop of blood was spilled. Amazing how silly the ratings system is.

Felt kind of an SJW twitch with the "the females eat the males after mating season", but that's probably just me being overly sensitive to the current climate.

This episode left me with very little to get excited about.

Question... Do you think the remnants of the Empire are afraid of the child because it's extremely Force sensitive?

I'd like to add I really liked Pedro Pascal. "I can bring you in warm... Or I can bring you in cold." If they let him, he'll make this worth watching on his own.

Also, the production quality was really high, with some impressive practical effects.
