All I know I'm happy about it and it's a great time to be a Star Wars fan.

Well

I say the greatest time to be a fan was growing up with the original trilogy when this was fresh new content that everyone mostly agreed upon

The fanbase has been fractured by many things these days

But at least again the Mandalorian looks like something care is being put into

I'll review it some day soon when I can watch it

I watched Daredevil and while it is probably the best one they did, it still had major flaws. I did enjoy it though, the fighting was cringe at times but the dude who played Wilson Fisk was pretty good.

and Bullseye

i fuckin love bullseye and his whole silly gimick of killing people with random things and accuracy

that paperclip but LOL & pencils etc

Every part of Daredevel was trash cause the leads sucked

I did enjoy minor characters like Michael Duncan clark kingpen

and Bullseye

Enjoyed everything but the score.

It's almost like the first season or two of Star Trek TNG where the cheese over the top campy music made it harder to take it seriously.

I particularly enjoyed the tiny glimpse into the group this dude belongs to and their tribal nature. Love the idea of him earning his suit.

Excited for more.

I did liked DD and Punisher (and ehem even season 1 of Iron First I know don't judge me).. I did see them all well I still have a season of Jessica Jones I will eventually get to it cause I have a thing for Trish.

They are out of the MCU as of now they got retcon or what you call it and they never fully wanted to connect them either but those shows have the advantages of being R rated while the Star Wars stuff is PG13 they will never forget that kid would like to watch them too so they are aimed with different specification from the get go one targeting a general audience while the other mostly grown ups.

Back to SW... first live action series started things really good with this pilot gets me curious about other shows just imagine freaking Obi and even Cassian (my least fav but The Americans show runner I have hopes).

In last season of DD they have a Point Dexter aka Bullseye he was good.

And @Clippy I know the lead from Boardwalk Empire (HBO show loved it) and I was used to him yes not my choice for the role either but I knew him so it was easier to 'accept' it.

Just cause Disnee made a random Star Wars shows that looks interesting won't help audiences trying to see a movie that follows Last Jedi

If anything they might get lost in the Mandolorian and forget about TROS completely

Oh it will bud the online buzz is already huge and people are already talking about why this going to be a major factor in TROS's success.

This was a genius business move by Disney and has a very good chance of pulling in a lot of casual fans that maybe wouldn't have gone to watch TROS in the cinema.

This TV show if it continues with this level of awesomeness is definitely going to spill over to TROS numbers.

People remember how TLJ made them feel and will not want to see an immediate follow up to that when they can stay home where it's warm and watch a story set in a better time
