During the years in which he won 6 championships, the league had added 6 new expansion teams into the NBA, all of which contained a bunch nobodies. As a result, the league was watered down in the 90s in terms of overall NBA talent.

The year he left for baseball his Bulls won 57 games. Let that sink in for a minute.

But Kobe is 5 for 7, which is great in it's own right, and the teams he did lose to in the finals (04 Pistons, 08 Celtics) would have put a dent on them Bulls as well. Bryant got to the finals more than Jordan did and nearly won just as many rings in a tougher era of competition.

I'm not the biggest Kobe fan, but he is without a doubt one of the greatest to ever play too. He's not a poor mans Jordan. He's just a Kobe. They both have their own respective leagues.

If you actually looked at statistics instead of relying on internet neck beards and the media for opinions, you would know that teams in the 90s actually shot more free throws than teams in the 2000s and present. Nice try mate.

And if you didn't already know, Jordan attempted more free throws per game over his career (8.2). Kobe was at 7.4.
