Why are you guys obsessed with this movie ? It was terrible

Because it's funny and a great look (or revisit) into the absurd 80's line of thinking. It's not the Godfather, but for a vampire movie, it's definitely at the top

Respectfully disagree. I don't think it's even a top ten vampire movie, at least not to people who really enjoy vampire movies.

Because the movie owned. Of all the kids vs monsters movies that were made during that time, this was the only one that was really themed for adults. The soundtrack is wild. The vampires are scary. The threat and tension are high and real the whole way throughout. Kiefer Sutherland was scary as fuck in that film.

you take that back you little fuck

Good night, bloodsucker!

no masterpiece, but its a fun movie, Santa Clara seemed like a cool place, plus Gramps knowing what's going on without being obvious

Santa Cruz

Never mind I am wrong.

I prefer Fright Night (og and remake) and Interview with a Vampire, but Lost Boys is good shit.

Let's just agree then that it's tricky to make a vampire movie that's also good.

Or in this case, one that appeals to a lot of people.

I enjoyed it when I was a kid.

That song at the beginning though makes you almost want to turn it off and not bother watching it.

Not sure how it'd hold up if I rewatched it though.

And it had a badass soundtrack

I would put the lost boys in the top ten for Vampire movies. What year were you born ts? I was born in 1980, and it was awesome to watch as a kid.

Interview with the Vampire is probably the goat vampire movie. Shadow of the Vampire is also very underrated.

One more reason. They made the city itself into a character in that movie.

I remember when it came out that it didn't look good. Still haven't seen it.
