As an elder statesmen of the war room, it's interesting to revisit a piece of literature that was around when I was a kid.

i had read it before, found it amusing, then had it lost in the archives of all the other literature I took in.
I re-read it recently and reenforce it's an absolutely brilliant piece of work. As fate would have it the author would die when he was shot down on his last reconnaissance mission in WW2. The morals of the stories, while not surviving the test of time in an ironclad position, still overall foster so much thought.
Tne overall message is the devastating effects of "close mindedness". Amazing that something that could theoretically pass as a child's book became so popular.
