Watching Inmpa vs Silvera...

Unfortunately their best LHW popped after last years tournament. LHW is weak enough as it is, you may aswell go to Bellator or the UFC.Watching Inmpa vs Silvera...

Even without that, Wilkinson isn't much better than Impa imo. He's got height but both are guys who went from WW to LHW.Unfortunately their best LHW popped after last years tournament. LHW is weak enough as it is, you may aswell go to Bellator or the UFC.
No disagreement there, but WIlkinson was a MW not WW.Even without that, Wilkinson isn't much better than Impa imo. He's got height but both are guys who went from WW to LHW.
It's always been one of PFL's weakest divisions, not for a lack of trying (they got a bunch of prospects, particularly guys from the russian scene like Yusupov, Grishin, Mokhnatkin) talent is just meh worldwide. Sordi won a season, O'Connell won one, Carlos Jr. won one - it's never been the best. If Nemkov sticks to it he's getting an easy mill every year.

LHW has been average since the end of Pride. Carlos Jr is legit.
I still haven't forgotten that Nemkov was getting outwrestled by ANderson before he got saved by that headbutt.
He seems to have made some adjustments, but the guy has taken a few losses in his prime.
I hope he performs how he seems to, but I get the feeling he loses in the next year or so to a guy he is massively favoured over.
The PFL 1 million route would actually be better for him than the UFC IMO>
Did you watch the Nemkov vs ANderson 1 fight live? He was about to get that loss. Credit to fixing that hole but he didn't look great against the ghost of Yoel either and showed some more of those issues. He probably does alright at LHW because it's missing the skillset to fully expose him though.Vadim Nemkov hasn't lost since 2016 and he is currently 31 years old. He has never lost in his prime unless you think his prime was 8-9 years ago.
I don't really see how Nemkov getting out wrestled by a top LHW who is a wrestler shows a massive weakness that leads to him losing a lot. He clearly got better since then because his rematch he beat up Corey really easily (and that improvement was in 2022, which further proves he def was not in his prime in 2015 when he lost to Jiri).
