The undisputed belt was on the line all along and still is. McGregor has not been stripped yet in case the whole fight was cancelled at the last second, but he will be as soon as the two contenders actually step in the cage.

The only point of an interim belt is to wait between fights for the undisputed belt : any fight for the undisputed belt erases the current interim belt. Makes perfect sense.

It doesn't really matter because it doesn't have any impact on what happens to the undisputed belt. Tony's interim belt served it's purpose and just vanishes.

Hmm okay.. That's what I figured but I keep seeing posts about Dana stripped Tony of the Interim title and I just wasn't sure if that was like 'official' or if it's just implied Tony will be stripped.. I guess it doesn't matter, my brain just melted.
