Apparently the kid was just riding his bike past a property and the three Cane Corsos got loose. Something like this is pretty fucking rare in our neck of the woods. I can't imagine the parents right now.

Cane Corsos are cool looking dogs but can be really mean an aggressive depending how they were brought up . They are perhaps the best of personal gaurd dogs as they are fiercely loyal and protective. Its a breed you get as a puppy - not a rescue.

I know beauty and all that is subjective, but I don't get this.

The more dogs are altered from a wolflike appearance, the uglier they look to me (minus floppy ears, those can be cute). Cane Corsos got that pushed in snout, floppy jowls, etc. I don't get it. They look like abominations.

A neighbour has a Cane Corso. We're not friends, but I know him to say hullo to if we pass in the street.

As much as I like dogs, I never try to pet his Cane Corso. I don't even make eye contact with it. He appears to have it well trained and under control, but I'm not taking any chances with a breed who's bite strength averages 700 PSI.

The weather is nice, with temps in the middle 70s of late. i've wondered if the pack of coyotes that have been roaming this area of late will cause any problems. I hope not, and probably not I've been thinking. A coyote came near me the other week while I was out working in the yard. It looked at me and kept on going.

My neighbor has a Corso, I'm actually scared of the dog because its 160lbs, its actually generally nice but it's so huge I get scared to be around it, I actually went over to it one time to greet it but he has another dog a daschund, as I approached it the weiner dog leapt toward me in an aggressive manner and the Corso followed out of nowhere good thing I was still a foot away or might have been bit by it. Then about I week later I was with it in the elevator and she just began sniffing me like I was no threat.
