Terrible judging. It was 30 -27. Should have been unanimous. Female judge????
The difference in first were the kicks, which were not all credited plus Machado slipped more. Perfect kick boxing.Striking was pretty even in the 1st. I thought geoff may have edged it. Garry clear 2 and 3 for me. Clinch control doesn’t matter at all
Neil was panic wrestling and cage stalling. Garry lit him upNeil was trying to fight. Garry lost
I actually fell asleep during the fight. I woke up during the Whitaker match.Neil was panic wrestling and cage stalling. Garry lit him up

It was a cautious, boring fight but Gary did clearly win at least two rounds. What was that female judge watching? Maybe aggression but Gary scored cleaner and more often shots and those leg kicks did land.IMHO, Garry clearly deserved the win, but it was not the most inspiring performance...mostly effective point fighting while riding the bike, .but at least he was not simply countering and instead was setting, coming in, etc.
As Rogan pointed out, Neil was clinching so often after landing something instead of continuing to strike. It's not like he did great work in the clinch and the clinching would just erased his momentum.
