No he's a sloppy, slappy walking noodle, with long noodle arms he lazily and un-techniquely just flaps and pushes in your face - inconsistently, with no form, no power, no combinations... just intermittent, random and then likes to defend opponents' punches with his face. Which isn't going to work out too well with Jake's right hand.
What do you mean

Pulling for Nate, I think he can stay away from the power right and take it to the later rounds.

I sadly have Paul by Dec, or TKO, hell, wouldn't be surprised if their infamous scar tissue of the Diaz Brothers gets opened up and stopped by cuts either.

Hence why I won't watch this farce, ill wait for MVP @KazDibiase to post the finish.

Btw, is it just me, or is Sherdog's Search Engine/bar/whatever broken/down?!?

Skinny fat Diaz fresh off the couch probably loses. If he doesn’t, a McGregor/Diaz trilogy would be the fight to make as they’re both pretty washed and irrelevant today. Would be a good retirement fight for both of them too

My money is on Nate.
I LOVE upsets and I feel like tonight could go down in history as a great night for Nate.

....and me getting a nice payout.

This Jake bastard is a legit boxer... so if Nate does get koed, he was koed by a okay not so great boxer but a legit one.

Jake Shields in an interview with the schmo said Nate wants to keep fighting and is interested in a third conor fight and maybe going back to the ufc

They've both already won.. it's just an exhibition money fight. They're both making millions, I see no losers there except people who think they're analyzing real sports when this is simply a spectacle to generate $$$. Nothing that transpires tonight has any impact whatsoever on high level MMA or boxing.

I hope Jake knocks the lisp right of that morons brain.
I don't know who's going to win but I can guarantee the lispy bitch has an excuse ready to go if he loses. The Diaz bros always have to try and save face to keep up their persona.

I doubt it. He's looking to fight 39 year old jorge masvidal and probably Conor McGregor once he's like 40

Nick and Nate's shot selection has always been bad and they leave themselves open to the body a lot. They don't move their head or feet and are pretty repetitive/predictable. They are tough as fuck, have great durability, great volume and superb cardio. But how anyone could look at Nates boxing and think "the best in MMA" Has always been beyond me. Nates going to look old tonight, his only chance is Jake punching himself out. Nate looked so old and slow vs Tony too.
I'd pick prime Nick (late Strikeforce era) against Jake, even though what you said is true. Jake has lots of holes in his game as well (as seen in his last fight). Nick would eat his share of shots but I think he'd win as his pressure/volume would be too much and his chin could hold up. Remember, the youngest MMA guy Jake has fought was like a 37-year old Askren who was a horrible striker. He hasn't fought anything close to a top MMA striker in their prime.

But sadly, I think old, slow Nate will get outworked easily by Jake tonight.

Nick was always visibly bigger than Nate, hit harder and yeah in his prime, a Strikeforce Nick? Totally reasonable take. I'd take a guy like Kopylov to beat Jake I think, give Roman 3-4 months to live in a boxing gym and hone his craft and cardio a little. Jake Paul gets way too much credit for beating up 5'8 40 year old Woodley on a 4 fight losing streak that never had much cardio and pot shotted his entire career using his takedowns to set up his strikes. Ben Askren I can outbox and Ben was off the couch post hip surgery collecting a check, another undersized, old Welterweight who can't strike. The size is just a huge factor here, Nates never looked better than vs Michael Johnson and Gomi...at Lightweight, lean and defined in fight shape. He's always been a kinda outsized WW and just carries extra fat.
