and at the night of fight I will become the father..

Fighting is a business. If your best and most marketable fighter is a HW champion it will result in more exposure = $$$. I think we can all agree that The Reem will bring much more value to the gym and therefore a win tonight for him would be most profitable for the gym.

Do you think they choose to corner Arloviski both to make sure they can control the outcome? If not, why does nobody corner The Reem?

"Greg Jackson is a business man". -Dana White.

Jackson opting out in the GSP/Condit fight was a dog act.

Condit was a ground up fighter of his whereas GSP had stopped going to New Mexico and would only bring in Jackson intermittently to his camps with Tri-Star.

Arnold is kinda funny and a dick. That was what I got out of this thread.

I remember that. Can't believe Greg did that. I understand he'd had trained both of them but he built Condit up from the time he was kid, just like you said. You would think he would have cornered him because of that. Carlos is one of the most longest tenured Jackson fighters if I recall correctly. He was there before jbj Rashad and alot of the guys you see there now.

Arlovski has been with Jackson for over five years. Reem is relatively new there and has bounced from camp to camp with a history of burning bridges. I know numerous people have had issues with Reem but I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a bad word about Arlovski.

Pumping Iron is an amazing documentary. Highly recommended to anyone on here that likes weigh lifting, docs, or just seeing a funny cocky ass young Arnold. He has some great lines in that move:

Reporter (as Arnold is leaving the stage) - "Arnold what type of milk do you drink?"
Arnold - "Milk is for is babies. I drink beer"

Reem is a gym hopper and Arlovski clearly demanded they corner him.

He was a cocky bastard back in the day. he was extremely confident in his abilities.. which I think is why he likes conor so much. reminds him of how he was. Granted, 2 vastly different sports, but arnold has succeeded in every single thing he has ever done. And not just succeeded, but was that the very best at it.

Arlovski is a jackson/wink fighter.

Overeem is a training camp nomad and has bounced around more camps than Belfort.

He said that he called his mom and told her he already won the contest. Before it even started. Now that is one confident dude.

I could see that. Didn't know he was a Conor fan though.

he also didn't go this his father funeral because it would mess with his contest preperation

I highly doubt you know ppl that know the Reem but I agree.

Reem claims it was because AA had no one else and Reem had his holland coaches and some wrestling guy at WJ's.

I doubt it tho. I think Reem did request the fight cuz he's on a streak and wanted easy prey to get the title shot.

I think he beat AA in sparring and seen his weaknesses.

Reem has a history of sparring too hard and alienating ppl at gyms. The only one he's really stayed with is in Holland and that may be because he's their only star.

Bobdybuilding is not a sport. A sport is where you compete with a set of rules, not flex-off.

And, Arnold was totally playing a heel for the thing. He was just trying to make it entertaining and did a good job.
