The Iran deal decision: Tump withdraws the US.

Reinstating sanctions that were withdrawn previously is not incentive for them to look at possible re-negotiation?

I was talking about forcing Iran into compliance. The Iran Deal gave Iran economic incentives in exchange for a significant reduction of their nuclear activities and capabilities. Now you take away these economic incentives and believe Iran is going to negotiate?

The Iran Deal was only possible through the combination of moderates on both Iranian (Rohani) and US (Obama) side. The story the Iranian moderates were able to tell was ‚See, talking and cooperating means we are better off‘. Now, the Iranian hardliners can say ‚We told you so. We shipped out our Uranium and dismantled our centrifuges for no good reason. We told you you cannot make deal with the American devil‘.

What does Iran stand to gain from negotiating? Why would they sign a deal involving the US again?

Crippling a country economically does not mean it cannot gain nuclear weapons. North Korea is the prime example here. The only way to make sure Iran cannot get nukes is by invading and toppling the government. Good luck with that.

Yes but crippling a country economically is how you help them get overthrown by their own people.

The removal of the economic sanctions (again)? I don't understand how you don't get that part. Of course it's possible it won't work, but it is surely more effective than just asking nicely.

This a collosully stupid idea, even for the fuckup that is Trump.

It destabilises the middle east further, increases Russia and China's power in the region, releases Iran from their obligations, energises the radicals in the middle east, benefits the US neither politically or economically or in terms of geopolitical influence, permanently damages the credibility the US has as arbiters of deals, and pushes a number of allies who negotiated the deal in good faith under the bus.

Did I mention it is a stupid fucking idea?
Iran never even signed the colossally stupid deal. They have no obligations. As far as destabilizing the Middle East goes, giving the mullahs 150 billion dollars further destabilized the Middle East by giving money to the world's leading State sponsor of Terror. This was just another one of Obama's idiotic pipe dreams. The Iranians had no intention of following through on any deal that they did not sign.

Saudi Arabia, "Hold my beer"

Anyone catch the news conference where Trump de facto admitted during questioning that Iran was adhering to the agreement? Or at least that was my take on it.

It’s embarassing to renege on a deal that appears to have been effective; Trump’s motivation is pure pettiness. It’s not the end of the world, the sky is not “falling,” as one glib halfwit posted; however, it does diminish our diplomatic standing and will have much unintended blowback, just as there was blowback every other time we screwed Iran over.

What "deal" anyway? What the fuck do people even think they are talking about? Like, they think we're trading our Electric Company for Iran's Water Works? It's a bad deal because the shoe and the car are closer to Electric Company. It makes me feel like I might be a businessman who business thinks like Donald Trump business business if we deal the deal, but no bad deal just good deal.

This is the fucking Twilight Zone. Post-Reality America.

Bring all Dee Womenz to us.

Oh yeah I forgot that the Saudis were teaming up with assad in Syria, arming Hezbollah and Hamas too.

Yeah, and it was Iran who provided the bulk of the 19 hijackers on 9/11! And Bin Ladin was Iranian!

Oh, wait...

There was never a deal. The Iranians never even signed it. Part of the supposed deal is that we would defend Iran if they were attacked. Even by Israel. The Iranians have also tested ballistic missile several times since the supposedly deal went into effect. Ballistic missiles meant to carry nuclear warheads. This was the best thing we could have done f*** Iran.

Are you saying that the Saturday government trained and armed the hijackers for 911? That's what Iran is doing with Hamas and Hezbollah.

cheers , Don

20 BILLION?!?!?

And how pray tell do companies remain profitable when they take a major hit on contracts? Lowering prices? Raising prices? Or by pink slipping the little guy?

I'm going to go with Raising prices and pink slipping the little guy.

if what Israel say is true though that Iran violate deal then it make sense on US part to leave it. And if the US is right about it.

Are you American? I be willing to bet some of EU will side with americans than Iran because they rather do bussiness with US.

Yeah i am saying I don' believe that analysis. I have doubted the US to many times.

Are yo suggesting collapse? I can see in 20 years US no longer having world reserve currency we already move from that in south America we trying now with eventual own currency. A multipolar world is inevitable the IMF want new world reserve currency base on basket of currency.

Dude, EU tried to convince Trump not to abandon it. Us is on its own.
