There are some obvious ones like Serra over GSP and such but I'm thinking a little less obvious that are still surprising. I remember when Mac Danzig KO'd Joe Stevenson, the look on his face showed that even he couldn't believe it.

I was pretty surprised at Frankie/Mendes. Not surprised that Frankie won, but how he won really shocked me.

The magnificent sport of Mixed Martial Arts, where the unexpected happens, especially when it involves punching someone.

Sorry i had to!

I thought BJ vs Frankie I was a complete joke of a match up.

If you don't have at least ten on your own list. You haven't been watching very long.

Uriah Hall vs Moose is my most recent example.

Mir beating Nog the first time was very surprising to me.

Some of the most surprising fights as far as method:

Mir/Nogueira 1 & 2
Gonzaga/Crocop
Sokoudjou/Lil Nog
Leben/Akiyama
Sonnen/Shogun

Soko KO'ing both Arona and Lil' Nog, then after that, kept on losing.

Same for Brett Rogers winning like 10 in a row including KO'ing Arlovski and giving Fedor a run for his money, to all of a sudden, losing all of the time.

Bisping vs.Silva and possibly Hall vs.Silva

I can't believe Bisping beat Silva. Also Forrest Rampage is one I think.

Exactly This.

I expected a closely contested UD for Edgar. I was out and somebody was giving me updates. They texted "That ended fast", so I thought Mendes caught him early but the person texted it was Edgar.

This thread was done fairly recently. My response then was Ortiz vs Bader. Bader has proven to have a very low fight IQ over time though, so perhaps not that surprising in hindsight.

He didnt.
Also Wonderboy vs. Hendricks, fully expected Johnny to wrestlefuck him, and Wonderboy cracked the chin I was considering as almost uncrackable in 1st.

Dennis Hallman submitting Matt Hughes twice in 37 seconds has to be one of the most improbable outcomes in MMA ever.

Gonzaga / Crocop

Extra points for the ironic way it was finished.
