Take for example the Black Beast if he connects flush on any HW in the UFC no way the lights don't go out. He is fighting Roy Nelson next who I think will easily beast Lewis but point is anything can happen with the big boys.......

Thanks man. That's some heavy duty insight.

And I never put two and two together before.

On the other hand you'll never EVER know when someone will eat a flush and keep going and then KO his opponents. HW's are not predictable, never will be. People that expect dominant champions better be ready to embrace the dynamic belt changes. Even if Cain wins it again i see him losing it shortly after somehow.

so what youre saying is BLACK BEAST HW CHAMP 2017??

I can get down with that.

it's due to the lack of wrestling in the division. Cain was someone predictable then decided he wanted to be a striker. There's been some other wrestlers pass through as well but all heavies seem to want to stand and bang first, at which point its too late for the TD attempt. Cormier would likely be HW champ if it werent for not wanting to fight Cain. I'd put money on Jon Jones to run through heavyweight division as well on his wrestling.

I too find it hard to believe that he'll lose to Derrick Lewis.

Nelson his just as hard and his right hand has a lot more speed on it that Lewis's. Plus he has a better chin. People will say Nelson was KO'd twice by Arlovski and Hunt, but if you watch both fights, he went down but wasn't out. He faceplanted against Hunt by 5 seconds later he was walking around the Octagon taking of his gloves, cursing.

and that's why guys who go undefeated for 10 years are considered the GOAT

Yea but he's almost 40 and has been Homer Simpsoning his way around the cage for a while now, I don't expect him to be able to hang for much longer

Which is exactly why it bugs me when people seem so sure that Jones could rule HW without getting tagged.

It's why I'll never accept 125 lb fighters being considered the best in the world. I don't care how dominant they are.

It's just not the same thing at all. The higher in weight you go, the more power the fighters have and chances for an upset, in the lower divisions, you are fighting men that are far below average height and weight.

True, but Derrick Lewis while being a hard puncher is also a very limited fighter with not so technical striking. I don't think he'll be the one to beat Nelson, even at this stage. Maybe he will, but I doubt it.
