The madder Hulk gets, the stronger he gets. Thing is a better fighter with a wrestling and boxing background. Thing has more heart than anybody.

Thing is my all-time favorite super hero.

But, Hulk's upper limit surpasses the Thing's positives.

Once you introduce storylines and PIS it becomes a draw.

The thing has more heart/humanity then most other superheroes in any universe.

The hulk bashes the thing to a bloodied mess but the thing just doesn't quit. Hulk realizes he's the bad guy turns back into banner and wanders off into the sunset.

yeah the only SPB to ever challenge hulk has been Juggernaut. I clearly remember Hulk besmirching Thing, and Thor on multiple occasions.

Hulk wins. One of the appeals of the Thing as a character isn't that he's overwhelmingly powerful. That's why he works well on the Fantastic Four.

Grimm is a better trained fighter, and has all the heart in the world. He earned the respect of the Champion because he simply refused to quit even after the Champion had cracked his ribs. But at a certain point, attributes surpass skill.
