The greatest "Ya'll musta forgot" performances?

GSP vs Bisping. Bisping has always made wrestlers' lives hell (with the exception of Tim Kennedy) and GSP was putting on an unprecedented amount of weight after 4 years on the shelf and ACL reconstructive surgeries on both knees. Bisping was in the midst of arguably the hottest streak of his career.

I didn't expect GSP to do so well in the stand-up and I never expected in my wildest dreams for GSP to do the world a favour and put Sptisbing to sleep and briefly shut him up once again.

Robbie Lawler vs Josh Koscheck
Lawler was supposed to be done after going 3-5 in Strikeforce. Koscheck was showing he still had it after narrowly losing to Hendricks.

That's a good one. I actually scored the Hendricks fight for Koscheck with a pretty clear 2 rounds to 1, and it was a split iirc.

Cruz over mizugaki. Cruz was out for Three fucking years, then he came back and absolutely ran through a streaking top 5 guy and mizugaki, even finished mizugaki, something Cruz rarely ever did.

KZ vs. Bermudez. KZ was out for 4 years, then came back and did this to a ranked opponent

Anthony Pettis randomly knocked out Wonderboy, I don't think anyone saw that one coming.
I don't even think that's a "Y'all must have forgot" That was more of a "This ain't ever gon happen again ya'll"

That was a very, very lucky shot.Pettis was getting beaten very badly and was on his way out. It was not a dominant perfomance like Glover vs Jan,Randy vs Tim or Aldo vs Edgar for example. He had nothing for Wonderboy and then bam lights out. I think thats only KO loss WB has in MMA or Kickboxin/Karate or whatever the hell he was doin before MMA.
For me personaly is Cruz over TJ. He was out like 3 years beats Mizugaki then 2 years out then beats TJ 3-2.Cruz even said he was like 185 pounds before geting the call to fight for the belt witch makes it even more impresive.

Cruz over Dillashaw
Thompson over Luque
Aldo over Edgar

As some of you mentioned Holloway vs Kattar, I would say Holloway vs Ortega. Remember, Ortega was the betting FAVORITE over Max, and then Max put on a clinic.
That fight really elevated Holloway's status as a FW GOAT candidate.

Cruz over Dillashaw is another good one. Alot of hardcore fans actually picked Cruz to win, which was fucking crazy to me.

TJ seemed to me like the more refined striker, took some elements of Cruz game and perfected it for his own style, younger and frankly more impressive. And um yeah, Cruz was coming off a 2.5 year layoff due to a string of bad KNEE injuries.

I really did forget how great Cruz was. His victory over TJ cemented his place as the BW goat. There is currently no close second.

I picked Cruz cos I liked him and didn't like the snake in the grass..

I knew Dom had it in him to win, it's whether his knees would keep up and if there was too much ring rust

Hopefully with Aldo we can see one this weekend.<mma3>

Max vs Kattar was a pretty epic recent one. Some people thought Max was beginning his decline, after the lackluster losses to Volk and previous issues that he had with weight cutting and stuff. Lots of people were picking Kattar in this fight. And Max goes out there and puts on one of the most dominating performances we've ever seen.

Lackluster losses? Both fights were close and a lot of people would argue that Max won the second fight.

No on wrote of Max. He is very clearly the #2 guy in the division. It's just very difficult to get a title fight when you're 0-2 against the champion but he's done a damn fine job justifying that fight

Easily Randy vs Tim.

Randy was old as crap, coming off a KO loss to a LHW. He then randomly got paired up with Sylvia in his next fight moving up to HW. Tim was like twice Randy’s size and had just about cleared out HW at the time. People thought Randy was going to legit get hurt badly in that fight.

10 seconds into the fight Randy shows he’s been training with Hendo by dropping Tim with a H bomb and out grapples him for 25 mins.

This is one of my all my time favorite fight performances, but I don't think it's really an example of "y'all must have forgot." Randy dropped down to LHW after being outmatched by larger fighters in Rizzo and Barnett during his previous run at HW. There wasn't much reason to believe he was going to handle Sylvia like that whether you remembered who he was or not.

tj did more damage and was robbed.cruz couldn't even walk right with the kicks alone he took

Edgar was streaking and in his prime. He was also the favourite to beat Aldo.

Other great yall musta forgot performances?

"odds opened at a virtual pick’em with Aldo hitting the board at -125 and Edgar coming back at -105 at Bovada."

You're just making shit up. Your #1 example for the premise of your thread is trash already.
