NFL The Great San Francisco 49ers

A Niner team with George Kittle, Fred Warner, Nick Boza and the rest can beat anyone. Without those three we stand no chance IN Seattle, yep, hurts to say that. Actually surprised we ( yep, part owner) beat the Eagles. That was more about a bad day for AJ Brown.

We have no pass rush so we have to get cute trying to manufacture one, that will not sustain.

So in 2025 we were one of the best teams in the NFL I can live with that.

With our studs back in 2026 and another draft, just maybe..............

I usually have Roger Craig next to Frank Gore when talking All Time Niner team, think it's time to replace Craig with McCaffrey, is that cat a great player or what?

Just learned this.....

Jaqoun Jennings our WR was a great high school QB, he was rated above............Joe Burrow.....huh???

I would use both McCaffrey AND Robinson, and run the hell out of the ball.

Starting to think just maybe...............

We are like 7-0 last 7 in this spot.

I think Fred might play, I think Ricky will play too.

Tbh I think having Ricky back will make a bigger impact than anyone else because it keeps the defence honest, stretches the field. It'll help the run a great deal. Thinking of George makes me want to tear up, I love that guy, Jake Tonges is doing great as next man up.

I agree the one thing we are sorely missing is pass rush. The coverage has been really good for the most part and the additions at LB have really worked.

A lot has to go right to make it work against Seattle, but it hasn't been the easy path all season. I give us a 33% chance.

With Warner only getting to play if we win is a big deal. No question added motivation. He was ruled out last night.

As you know we are very familiar with playing in Seattle and with Ricky back it;'s like you said and now add a less than 100% Darnold, things are looking up,

Almost tempted to change my pick and I really do want to, it sucks picking gainst your team, what a fucing traitor, sheesh~~~

Who can compares to this....

QB...Joe Montana, Steve Young
RB....Frank Gore, Roger Craig, Christian McCaffrey, Joe "Jet" Perry
WR....Jerry "GOAT" Rice, Terrell Owens, Dwight Clarke, John Taylor
TE....George Kittle, Vernon Davis

Hell

Brock Purdy Alex Smith
Hugh "King" McElhenny, JD Smith, Garrison Hearst, Wendell Tyler, John Henry Johnson
Freddie Solomon, Gene Washington, Dave Parks
Bert Jones

There are 8 Hall of Famers up there.

Won't count Randy Moss, OJ Simpson, Bob Hayes for obvious reasons

The Packers were great in the early 60's, the Steelers in the 70's, the Niners and Cowboys in the 80's, and here we STILL are in the mix in 2026. How cool is that?

Hell, the Cleveland Browns owned the AAFC in the 40's with Otto, Motley, Lavelli all in the Hall of Fame.

The Niners have had FIVE Superbowl QB's, yep, nobody else can say that,

The old AAFC.

AAFC
  1. Later known as Connie Mack Stadium

You weren't beating Seattle even with them plus more.

Ehhhhhh maybe. I don't think we would have scored 40 but you wouldn't have scored any more than you did.

i had Seattle, we simply have too many key pieces out.

Now the Seahawks will be with their power back Charbonet, that will hurt.

Imagine an NFL with only 14 teams, think about the quality of play.

It was,,,,,

West

Niners
Rams
Colts
Lions
Packers
Vikings
Bears

East

Redskins
Cowboys
Browns
Giants
Steelers
Eagles
St. Louis Cardinals

Now with the 32 teams we don't get the same level of player, far better quality with just 14 teams.

I know I know........$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.....rules.

There would be no CJ Stroud, no Bryce Young, hell......no Jarrett Stidham

All those NCAA divisions, the NAIA that's a lot of footballers, now the best of the best in a 14 team league.

My old HS has been playing football for over 100 years, how many of those kids went on to play pro football...........three......and all off the same team.

I played flag football wit two of them in the city league.

How would you feel about swapping Shanahan for McDermott? I know it won't happen but it's kind of fun to imagine.
