The Goonies Reunion

I never saw it, but from what I gather...

a kid named ‘mouth’ goes through underground tunnels searching for a character named ‘one-eyed willy’ and the child actor that played the ‘mouth’ has also spoken out about being sexually abused as a child in hollywood. How many coincidences are necessary before it’s not a coincidence anymore, just wondering..

Ok boomer

Actually I missed the boomer era by a year. It’s defined as 1946-1965 and I was born in 66, which makes me a Gen X I guess. Not that these things matter... I’m awesome no matter the label. That’s what my mom says anyways, so I believe her.

I’ve watched both BTLC and Tremors 1&2 the past month. Now I Guess I’ll watch The Goonies
As well.

Cant get too much of these show man. Another time and another head space totally. People were just having fun.

I'm only a few minutes in, but that awkward silence and presumably inside cringe when Corey was plugging his shit.

watched that the other day, got a new set of kids to introduce to the goonies soon, i loved that film when it came out and it still stands up to anything they make today.

The Goonies and Ghostbusters are the only movies that, if I decide to watch them, I end up watching twice, consecutively. I first watch as normal, then immediately play from the beginning, with the commentary track.

I was 19 when the original Goonies came out. The 80s were so awesome. Go to the cornerstore, rent a movie on VHS, buy beer and snacks. This describes many Friday nights!

I was younger about 8 or 9 but it was cool in the late 80's going to the video stores and renting VHS videos. I used to do it for wrestling.

Yeah, as much as I like the convenience of streaming services, I have great memories of going to the video store. When we got there and all the good ones were taken, we would pick something that we would probably never have watched. We ended up watching a lot of crappy movies over the years, but some cool underrated ones too.

Movie was awesome. Corey Feldman is so cringe inducing I have to mute him. Kerri turned into a Jewish housewife. She was so cute back in the day. I’m sure there will be a reboot with all black and lgbt characters.

Ke Quan still has the same voice as when he was a kid
