The future of US- Rusher relations

Remember when we almost had nuclear annihilation because of them? Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis? Remember the proxy wars afterwards? Remember when we started NATO to counter their aggressive expansion across the globe after WW2? Remember their support for basically all of our real enemies?
Remember when the Cold War ended?

If there's one thing we as Americans can't stand, it's countries who expand their reach beyond their own borders and interfere with other countries

We should annihilate Russia imho

It was better in the 90s when their entire economy was in ruins imho

Well let's not forget that America was very isolationist until Russia and the communist expansion after WW2. We didn't even want to get involved in Europe before then. Most of our "imperialism" since the 1940's has been a direct counter to communist expansion that threatened the Allies.

America definitely has a habit of overstepping our bounds and has been on the wrong side of history quite a few times, but I wouldn't blame American reach across the globe on America. We did it for stability after a global war that killed 70 million people and destroyed most major nations.

That isn't really true, we started picking on all the Islands in the Pacific and Caribbean and Spain and South America pretty much as soon as we were able to.

Yes, just like every other large nation does.

Everybody got justifiably nervous after that. Excellent points

Yawn.
Another bitter loser still crying about Russia.
It's sad and boring.
I'd feel sorry for TS, but fuck him.

Well look at why we got involved in most of those wars in the first place. What was our goal? It wasn't resources. It was fighting communist expansion.

Of course, whenever America does something it is for the moral cause of good, and when Russia does something it is out of pure evil. Obviously, no one is questioning that fact.
