Many people always talk about how the UFC is dying but i really think this is far from true. UFC is doing really great in fact, BUT i believe that they are losing the control that they had created, thanks to Connor. It could be that the previous owners predicted this and sold the org. before losing to much "power over the fighters".

And yes it's true that they have sold a little less ppv's but that doesn't mean they are going bankrupt... but the fact that they have let Connor get to much control, do what he wants and gain so much more then the rest it's only a matter of time (pretty short time 1-2 years) before other fighters simply have had enough and they will finally unite (mma fighters union will soon grow) to get better salaries and other orgs. will soon start appearing.

UFC has been able to maintain it's number one position and buy out everyone else for a long time but i think it's not gonna last much longer. Pretty soon now we will start seeing more and more competition and "soon" UFC will not be quite as big as they are now, in regards to owning ALL the talented fighters. I think that soon we are going to have a more competitive market, and with that we will probably see more fights also. So i believe for us fans it's only a good thing, UFC will remain the number one org. for a really long time but i think that other orgs. will start getting some pretty good fighters also and be able to pay them fairly.

So in short in the future i think we will see more fight cards from more orgs. that will be really good cards. UFC will not have ALL the best fighters like they almost do now. Bellator has some of them but in the future i predict there will be an even more competitive market. Just some thoughts about where we are heading...

A good example is PFL which will have 6 new champions in 2018 who will all win 1million. That is more then almost all UFC fighters make, and most UFC fighters can only dream of making such money... so with offers like these it's only a matter of time(1-2 years is my guess) before we are going to start seeing pretty big changes. And options like these will only increase more promoters will start showing up because they are noticing that mma has a big future and fighters are obviously not content (more or less like 90%).

UFC will be fine, and MMA is still in its infancy.
I am looking forward to watching the evolution continue.

Boring thread.

Random thought. So I was watching tv today and I came across a Beyonce interview......

Is she aware that she is not actually a queen of anything? The way she came off, it was like she considered herself a deity or something. Truly bizarre shit

What is the point of this thread?

Legit didn’t read. And I’m not just saying that because I read it and felt cheated for wasting a couple of minutes of my life.

Thought this thread was gonna be about the real future of MMA.

So you're just trying to say that the UFC isn't actually going to die, but rather, a big change is about to happen.

The future of MMA is his past.

Yes that's what i believe. UFC will keep being successful but i think they will lose their complete control of the market. And we will see a more competitive era ahead where we will have maybe 3 or 4 companies soon not just UFC and Bellator soon there will be a couple of more that will all be big and all of them will start attracting new talent and old with more competitive salaries and offers. Like what i mentioned e.g PFL having 6 new 1million dollar champions things like that is going to open the eyes of fighters and they will try new waters.
