Not seeing the likeness.

Don't expect any of the other characters to look the same as their comic book counterpart. Majority of them will just be wearing street clothes with some probably sporting the same color scheme as their comic version.

Well, i expected the bad guys to be blonde, regardless of whether they're supposed to be or not(of course blonde good guy Barry Allen has dark hair instead), but with The Flash series being more "out there", i was hoping that the heroes and villains would have something more resembling their costumes.

At least it would appear Zoom has his yellow equivalent of Barry's costume, if that blurry living room clip is anything to go by.

Robbie Amell to Play Ronnie Raymond / Firestorm in THE FLASH

Robbie Amell is coming to Central City. The Tomorrow People star is reuniting with executive producer Greg Berlanti for a major recurring role on The CW's The Flash, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Amell is boarding the Arrow spinoff as DC Comics character Ronnie Raymond, otherwise known as one-half of Firestorm. First appearing in the third episode, Ronnie is Caitlin Snow's (Danielle Panabaker) fiance, whose fate is more complicated than first imagined. A maintenance worker at S.T.A.R. Labs, Ronnie plays an integral part in the particle accelerator accident that transforms Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) into The Flash.

Never understood why people cared about this aspect of super hero movies/shows so much. Not specifically saying you but just in general I see lots of complaints like this and it's just weird to me. All I care about is that the characters have the same powers and the story line is close that's it.

William Sadler Cast as Simon Stagg in The CW's THE FLASH

Simon Stagg, the father of Metamorpho's girlfriend Sapphire in the DC Comics source material, will appear on the second episode of The CW's The Flash, played by The Shawshank Redemption's William Sadler, the actor revealed via his Twitter account. The Roswell star posted a number of comments and photos to Twitter today after being spotted by paparazzi on set yesterday. With him at the time was Muchasa Armstrong, who had minor roles in Arrow and The Tomorrow People. ComicBook.com has reached out to The CW to see whether we can confirm that Armstrong is playing Java, the genetically-engineered driver/bodyguard who is a constant companion to Stagg in the comics.

A report on TVLine earlier this week suggested that Starman villain The Mist might be the antagonist in the second episode of The Flash. Whether that report was inaccurate, there's a connection between the two villains. Around the same time The CW announced that The Flash would be introduced on Arrow with an eye toward a pilot, Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim tweeted an image of a van marked "Metamorpho Chemical" with the teaser "coming to Arrow Season 2."

Wonder if that means we'll be seeing Metaphorpho some time down the line. Though that could be an expensive effects budget so probably not.

The guy in the wheelchair is Harrison Wells (actor Tom Cavanagh) who is described as a rock star physicist and the brains behind the Particle Accelerator. Zoom is played by Rick Cosnett.

As a fan of VD, I would say that Rick Cosnett is a perfect fit for Zoom. He plays the role of creepy weirdo very well.

Wentworth Miller to Play Captain Cold in The CW's THE FLASH

Prison Break alum Wentworth Miller is heading to Central City. The Flash has booked Miller in the guest role of Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold, on The CW's Arrow spinoff, executive producer Greg Berlanti announced Friday during the summer Television Critics Association press tour. Miller will first appear in the fourth episode. In the DC Comics, the popular Leonard Snart/Captain Cold is a leader of the Rogues and considered an enemy of The Flash.

Miller joins a cast led by Gustin, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Tom Cavanagh, Rick Cosnett and John Wesley Shipp in the ensemble, which also recently added Tomorrow People star Robbie Amell as half of Firestorm.

Berlanti revealed that there is a good chance viewers will meet Dr. Martin Stein, the other half of Firestorm, revealing that in an early draft, Stein was "in a version of the pilot." "We've incorporated almost everything from the mythology into it and added a whole new backstory," executive producer/COO of DC Comics Geoff Johns told reporters. "[The Flash] is probably the most faithful DC adaptation ever."

As for speculation over whether characters Green Arrow and The Flash will transition to the big screen, Johns tried to put that to rest, saying that the film and television universes for DC Comics "are separate worlds." The Flash premieres Oct. 7 on The CW.

Not long ago, The Flash and Arrow showrunner Greg Berlanti told reporters that he hoped to get to crossovers between the shows and their characters sooner rather than later -- and today, the other shoe dropped. Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg confirmed to TV Guide that the two CW series, based on DC Comics superheroes, will cross over for a two-hour event across their respective eighth episodes.

Assuming there are no skip weeks, that would place it at November 25 and 26 for The Flash and Arrow respectively. If there are programmed skip weeks, it would likely be in early or mid-December. Barry Allen made his first appearance on Arrow in the second season's eighth episode last year, titled "The Scientist." That episode aired on December 4. The show's midseason finale, "Three Ghosts," continued that storyline and aired on December 11.

Kreisberg, who works on both series, said that most of the crossovers will be fairly low-key at first, but that this event is larger in scale. "Episodes 8 of both shows, Arrow and Flash, are going to be a two-hour crossover event," Kreisberg told TV Guide. "[Also], in Episode 4, Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] is going to come to The Flash."

Assuming there are no skip weeks, that would place it at November 25 and 26 for The Flash and Arrow respectively. If there are programmed skip weeks, it would likely be in early or mid-December. Barry Allen made his first appearance on Arrow in the second season's eighth episode last year, titled "The Scientist." That episode aired on December 4. The show's midseason finale, "Three Ghosts," continued that storyline and aired on December 11.

Thanksgiving is the 27th, so I don't think there will be any need for skip weeks before these air. My guess is that your predicted air dates will be accurate.

That's pretty much it. He was the stereotypical theater kid, actually. Gay [but not "officially" out of the closet at the time, really hoping he is now...], very social. Nice guy. He had a lot of friends, very popular, but not an asshole. Definitely outside of my social circle, haha, but he wasn't a bad kid. Glad to see him get some real success with his passion, but I certainly don't expect a shoutout any time soon.
