So there's no 5th episode?

Next week will feature Plastique i believe.

Im excited for the flash/arrow crossover but honestly
how will Captain Boomerang be able to compete with both of those characters without coming off as lame or cheesy?

That goes for a lot of Flash villains, tbh. Can't wait for Grodd to make his appearance though.

They went with a repeat because of the midterm elections. Episode five is this Tuesday 11/11.

I see. Just have to wait then.

I think it'd be hard for the Arrow to be relevant when it comes to all these meta-humans. The Flash could easily beat anyone using his speed, it's a matter of TV convenience that he doesn't. The Green Arrow would have a tough time against people with actual super powers -
Guys like the Dark Archer and Deathstroke gave him problems, and he couldn't beat him alone, or atleast without the help of the League of Assassins. What could he possibly do against the Weather Wizard or even the Flash?

As shows, I enjoy Arrow moreso than The Flash (it's darker and more down to earth, grittier, etc.) but I don't see Oliver keeping up too well.

Captain cold...heatwave...weather wizard could all be taken by the arrow..they can do lots of damage; but none are invulnerable...fast healers or resistant to harm.

Just sneaking up on them and putting an arrow in them eliminates most...tranquilizer arrows or shock arrows...or just straight up kill them.

But if he takes them on head on...then yeah its a toss up...weather wizard was killed by a bullet...

The flash is fast enough to avoid harm..but he can be hurt by the same sh*t regular people get hurt by; punches..knives...poisons...sharp objects...explosives...electric shocks ..etc...

Its just a matter of hitting him with it...which can be done...esp if its a sneak attack..or something like drugging or poisoning gimme..etc...

And as they say in the show..he is a show off...so he puts himself in spots where things can or will go badly for him...

It reminds me of X Men Days of Future Past, when Quicksilver was so overpowered he couldve taken care of every problem in the movie by himself

That would actually be pretty cool. I've always liked the interaction between Barry and Jay.

Max Mercury or Johnny Quick would be cool too, bro.

I'd love to see the Crime Syndicate make an appearance. Especially Owl Man and Ultra Man.:icon_twis

Luc Roderique to Play Jason Rusch/Firestorm in THE FLASH

Luc-Roderique-Firestorm-Dragonlord.jpg

Jason Rusch, one half of the Firestorm matrix in more recent comic book adaptations of the character (including the one currently appearing in The New 52: Futures End), is coming to The CW's The Flash, KSite TV reports. A graduate student at Hudson University, Rusch was part of Martin Stein's research team on the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project. In the DC comics, Jason takes over the Firestorm matrix after Ronnie Raymond's death.

In the current comics, Raymond and Rusch share the Firestorm body, while in the past it was one of the two with Professor Stein. Rusch and Ronnie have a somewhat adversarial relationship, with Jason treating Ronnie like a dumb jock and Ronnie unhappy sharing his time to be Firestorm. No clue on what combination, if any, will be in the TV series, where actor Robbie Amell had previously stated that Firestorm will arrive soon and that Ronnie will struggle to remember his non-Firestorm identity.

Roderique has also starred in the Supernatural episode "Blood Brother," the recent, Gareth Edwards-directed Godzilla and the pilot episode of iZombie, coming to The CW in January.

Interesting I wonder if the Green Lantern will show up sometime.

I enjoyed that episode. It was cool to see Clancy Brown as Eiling. But really the biggest talking point is the end scene:
Grodd!
