First Look at THE FLASH Running in Super Speed!

Super speed has go to be one of the toughest super powers to translate to film. It has to look good, keep it super speedy, but you have to be able to watch it and know what is happening.

Hopefully it looks ok for the show, hard to tell from that clip.

looks good, can't wait, but I also want to see how Singer's Quicksilver looks in super speed too

a lot of speedsters in the spotlight soon

I interested how they will operate with his rogues gallery ...killer frost..vibe..even trickster..it will be interesting to see how they manage all out superpowered fights....

The original flash never had that element and very few comic shows have that ..not between super powered beings..outside of super strength..captain America/deathstroke shit..

From what the reviews are saying, his scene is exactly a 180 from the shit show a lot of us were expecting. Sounds like it is a pretty cool scene.

not sure what I think yet of Avengers Quicksilver yet. It looked decent at the end of Captain America, but that was in a prison cell pretty much. He definitely looks a lot better physically.

So is it expected that there will be two Flashes at some point in the near future? A cinematic Flash that joins up with Justice League, and a tv Flash for his own show. Anyone think that it may wear the Flash out? Or can both stand on it's own? Personally I hope they find a way to connect tv flash into DC Multimedia Universe as Justice League Flash.

We don't know yet. I personally don't think it's a good Idea to connect the cinematic universe with the TV universe. Firstly because Superman is suppose to be the first super powered hero in the cinematic universe (according to Zack Snyder). Secondly the show would have to adapt their storyline non-stop with what happens in the movies. You'll get frequent questions like: Why didn't Superman intervene? Where was the Justice League during the whole conflict? etc.
In other word the TV universe will become dependent on the cinematic Universe. As much as I like Arrow (one of my favorite TV shows) I don't believe it's a good idea to merge it with the Man Of Steel-verse, but you never know.

Shield suffers from this as the show leans heavily on movies so storylinesaccording to movie scheduling...which has impacted the pacing of the show and how storylines develop.

It sucks that arrow is so well done..but will ultimately overshadowed by the new dc universe...esp since the arrow verse is expanding and there will be two of many characters...flash nightwing etc

Fantastic First Teaser Trailer for The CW's THE FLASH!

The-Flash-Logo-Dragonlord.jpg

The first official teaser for The Flash has been released online. The series, which will launch in the fall, was planed as a spinoff from Arrow, the popular DC Comics adaptation based on superheroic archer Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow. Barry Allen — The Flash — appeared in a pair of highly-publicized episodes around midseason and, at the end of the second episode, returned to his native Central City and fell victim to the accident that will ultimately give him super powers.

The series will star Glee‘s Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, a Central City CSI who works with S.T.A.R. Labs to help manage his powers. Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) will be the S.T.A.R. scientists closest to him, and they have already appeared on Arrow as well (in the aforementioned Episode 20). Jesse L. Martin, Rick Cosnett, Candice Patton, Tom Cavanaugh, John Wesley Shipp, Michelle Harrison and Patrick Sabongui also star. The series will debut on The CW in the fall.

Synopsis: After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

Five-Minute Extended Trailer for The CW's THE FLASH!

The-Flash-Logo-Dragonlord.jpg

The CW has released a 5-minute extended trailer for The Flash featuring lots of great new footage. The trailer begins with tragedy before bringing us to the present day Barry Allen. The video gives us a bit more information on his backstory before finally showing us Barry Allen post-lightning storm. He's awake, and he's fast! He even heals fast. But as the synopsis and the trailer reveal, Barry's not the only metahuman out there. It also shows Barry demonstrating his new skills, and dropping in to have a chat with Oliver Queen, who seems to have some motivational words for his friend.

The DC’s speedy superhero series stars Grant Gustin (Glee), Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order), Danielle Panabaker (Shark), Rick Cosnett (The Vampire Diaries), Candice Patton (The Game), Tom Cavanagh (Ed), John Wesley Shipp (the 90s The Flash), Carlos Valdes, guest star Patrick Sabongui, and recurring star Michelle Harrison (Emily Owens, MD).

Well, I'm sold. That was an impressive trailer.

Damn that trailer was great. Guess that final scene suggests Ollie will start swinging on buildings in Season 3.

not bad, glad they are doing the flash properly.
