The FIRST Paramount + / CBS card is OFFICIAL ( Main Card )

Gathje vs. Paddy is an ok fight. My main beef is that Dana is benching Arman. Topuria might even vacate Light title.
Arman might not fight for another 6 to 8 months
I want to see all those guys fight at least 3 to 4 times a year. Gathje will probably retire within 3 fights.

Per Dana : Cowboys vs Chiefs Halftime show

First Paramount / CBS Card

Paddy vs Gaethje
Nunes vs Harrison
Suga Sean vs Song
Acosta vs Lewis
Silva vs Allen
Yikes I had some optimism about the Paramount era but this is looking degenerate af

Guys Armen on this card would be women having to save it..

That's why he's not on it.

The possibility that Armen just grapples for 5 rounds is not what the UFC wants. For their first Paramount fight. It's business.

I HATE that Gaethje is getting another title shot when Arman is right here saying he would fight in January

Tbf, this was announced only a few days after Arman's last fight. The UFC has probably been negotiating the fights for a while.

Still, I hate that the rightful #1 contender is being passed up for an industry plant like Paddy.

A mediocre weight bully who beats on the elderly vs an undeserving championship failure who cried and threatened to retire to get a title shot is their first big time main event?

It's business, but not for the reason you say. Has nothing to do with grappling, Paddy is gonna try to grapple too. But the UFC wants Paddy with a belt. They think he can beat Justin. They realize he likely can't beat Arman.

Justin didn't want to fight outside for a belt so they appease a vet that's been a fan favorite too. And since Arman just fought they have that as cover.

I definitely like the card and it has a few of my favorite fighters on it like Song and Black Beast, only the whole interim thing is a bit irritating but whatever.

I think actually that UFC had better cards for each debut. I'm not a huge fan of WMMA, but there is much worse women to stack a card with.

Heard Pereria v Ulberg to headline here . Hope that's still case. A good card but Oereria names it great

Looks like a great card, can't wait!

Well It's not really a spectacular main card I'd say.
I'm sure they wanted Topuria on it but he is in middle of divorce and all that shit do has declined to fight in Q1 2026.

For sure I'm quite excited about the Paramount era. See what they change, if anything.

One more point : When was the last BORING Gaethje fight??? .......yup they don't really exist. So....for me....any card with Gaethje on it is automatically a good card.
I'm sure UFC want Pimblett to win.....but I hope Juston crushes Pimby's legs amd finishes Paddy flatlands him.
OR turns it into a bloody 5round slugfest.

Here's hoping it's a great event to kick off the new year. I am quite sure all the fighters will be given a pep-talk the day before about giving it their all and how important it is to kick off the Paramount era with some really exciting fights on this 1at event.
