The Fights Were One of The Fighters Clearly Tapped but....

[almost...] Ken vs Royce

Stop promoting the Ken v Royce lie! Surely one of the biggest mistruths from all the stories of the early days, and all one has to do is watch the full UFC 1 telecast to understand - Royce catches Ken, Ken taps, Royce stops, the ref doesn't understand and orders them to keep fighting. Royce continues, Ken doesn't saying that he tapped, that means the fight is over. Ken is then interviewed on the broadcast right after getting out of the cage, he says that Royce got him, he tapped because he was beaten, that means Royce wont he fight and that it was over fair and square.

I'm not a Ken fan in the slightest but this Chinese whispers wives tale BS is ridiculous.

Edit: I apologise if I seem confrontational but it's Boxing Day so, you know. Not trying to be a jerk but facts are more important than a good story.

Lesnar - Mir 1

shitty ref made him keep tapping after it was clear from the first taps. Maz had an agenda.

If I remember correctly, I think he just screamed when he was in the armbar, but didn't actually tap.

Still that could be seen as a verbal tap and you can't fault the ref for stopping it...

Either way, he was going to have to tap eventually
So last night after posting that I googled it and apparently chael was hiding a broken arm before that fight cause he didn't want to miss it.
