The first time I ever saw mark Hunt fight he fought Vanderlei Silva and won despite being a rookie in MMA. Silva gave up an awful lot of weight in that fight but still Hunt showed incredible instincts for a rookie and got out of many near submission holds. I thought Hunt would be Heavyweight Champion one day but he hasn't had the necessary consistency. Just when he seems on the verge of greatness, he loses a fight he shouldn't have lost.

I also have been let down by Josh Barnett. I thought he would become UFC Champ for a second time but it has;t happened. Again, consistency is his biggest problem. Of all the great fighters he may be the most inconsistent.

Eric Silva, Nam Phan, Paulo Thiago and the smiling / happy warrior chick from TUF.

Mayhem Miller comes to mind.

I thought he'd do well when he came to the UFC, but he just could not perform on the big stage.

I decreed Paulo Filho would be the greatest of all time.

Mayhem. He had potential. So much potential...

Jon Jones in any driving situation.

Didn't read, too busy driving.

He did okay against a surging GSP. The Bisping fight was disappointing and the CB fight just pissed me off.

Love the Diaz Brothers but Nick has failed every significant test put his way.

meh I feel like Mark Hunt hasn't been a let down... He just doesnt have the grappling. He has a solid takedown defense. But the grappling isn't there. Dude almost had Fedor in a Kimura though. That was nuts.

My pick is Brandon Vera. Man the hype machine had me buying into all of his talk. I thought he would be UFC champ in at least one division by now.
Close but no cigar Mr. Vera

I might have to make a thread on him now lol

Jake Ellenberger -_-

Literally my face watching his fights lately
