and will be canceled once Fedor and Zuffa finalize all of the small details of his UFC contract.

- the org, Fight Nights Global, is affiliated with the UFC and is scheduled to be on fight pass. Zuffa will cover them if the event is canceled.

- most of the fighters don't even have opponents less than 2 weeks out http://www.sherdog.com/events/Fight-Nights-Global-Emelianenko-vs-Maldonado-52195

- Maldonado hasn't fought since the ufc and he's just playing along for them

- If somehow Fedor and Zuffa don't come to terms, he hasn't been training for nothing and will just go thru with the fight vs Maldonado

Or Zuffa will let Fedor trash Maldonado with the quickness and go on to fight Brock in July.

In another thread people claim Brock has been training for 13 months for the UFC 200 card.
Now Fedor is actually fighting Brock at 200.. But instead of announcing this super fight its all done in secret and last min so the public and potential ppvs does not know.

Thats how you make a ppv success,

so is fedor's comeback.

he just wants time away from the wife.

lol. but the thing is this fight wasn't even thought of until recently once people started trashing the 200 card. The UFC wanted to make 200 the biggest card of all time, and aside from Conor/Diaz 2 this was the only option. also the contract negotiations makes it harder to promote the event.

Hahaha.

Fedor vs Brock, make it happen. Only fight that makes sense for Brock.

Doubt it...the spent a lot of money on this badass commercial.

So after trying to sign Fedor for more than what is it 10 years?
They out of nowhere suddenly manage to do it?
What changed? Fedor realized he wanted to be on the 200 card because that what cool kids do?

If the details with Fedor was not in place why announce Brock is on 200?
would they not want to have everything ready when they announce

Fedor won't fight Brock. He wants the Maldonados of the world.

MMA is much different now. 10 years ago there were other places to fight. UFC is the only one now.

Out of nowhere they suddenly do it because Diaz/Mcgregor 2 was cancelled and 200 was lackluster. Fans were disappointed. They had to do something with the little time they have.

What changed is Zuffa has to come to Fedor's terms now, since it's the only choice they have and must do it quickly if they want to make 200 the biggest card in history.

The details with Fedor aren't completely in place. They announce Brock because he will be competing regardless. That's why Hunt and others were told to be in shape and ready for 200, in case they can't come to terms with Fedor.

Anyway, I will be right regardless. If it's Fedor vs Brock, I'm right. If it's Hunt or someone else, my theory is also right. No point in arguing.

well to me Brock is the easier fight for sure. maldonado can take a tremendous amount of punishment and has tremendous heart. At the very least Fedor will break his hands punching that guy into a "living death". On the other hand, brock is big and strong but he cannot take a punch so maybe a hand ful of those shots will bring him down and the only game Fedor has to play is dont get taken down.

I am sorry.... but nothing changed.
Brock is the big draw here and known to the mainstream.
Brock can more or less fight anybody and still sell ppvs.
UFC does not need Fedor.

But good on you to be right. I am right too if its not Fedor it is some one else..
