He'd beat Ivanov imo.Ah yeah bro.
You should be challenging Ngannou, Gane or Jon Jones. You train UFC, 6'3", 255 of pure muscle. New GOAT.

Once Derrick Lewis loses a couple of fights....
Sherdog "The fact that this guy with absolutely no technical skill was a top HW for so long is embarassing"
Lewis has the most KO's in UFC history. Beat Ngannou, KO'd Blaydes, Volkov etc. he's obviously passed it now, he's nearly 40.
But I do love it when the SherDog shits on a fighter after they're clearly passed their prime, and evidently start losing.
Sherdog goes crazy and says they were always garbage fighters.
Didn't he himself say it would be embarrassing if he became Champion? Pretty sure he embraces the fact that he has no skills.
“If I’m the champion, the whole UFC division should be ashamed of itself.” Lewis said. “A guy that has no damn skills…what the hell is he doing being champion? They should all just relocate some damn where.”
He has always been the same fighter that lost to Matt Mitroine and getting beat twice by a journeyman like Shawn Jordan. Even then he gave up on fights against battleworn JDS and Mark Hunt. He always did have luck on his side with his last min KO against Volkov and Blaydes stupidly diving into his uppercut on a fight where Blaydes was winning in the standupOnce Derrick Lewis loses a couple of fights....

The problem is that very few of them have the combination of skills/athleticism. It's been a very weak division for nearly a decade now.
Can someone tell me which era of the HW division that wasnt an embarrassment? I've been seeing these threads since I joined sherdog.
This poster and his AV are pretty susI always told people that if I ever became unemployed homeless etc = I’d just go fight at ufc heavy weight . I’m 6’3 255 lbs military measurements with an 81 in reach. I’m around 10% body fat, could possibly pass the drug test with the correct timing etc. I meet the requirements since apparently you don’t really need skills to compete at hw in the ufc lol. I’ve done some training in the past in sambo and Muay Thai. At 28, have been curious tbh. I mean seriously the blakov vs Tybura was embarrassing and they’re considered what top 10-15 hws? Smh. Lewis with no skills has beaten top fighters lol Maybe I’ll begin a YouTube series and document my training progress etc road to ufc hw . Dana likes that type of stuff

It is what it is.. that's HW MMA. It's not anomaly either, Mark Hunt, Tai Tuivasa and others got far at HW with pretty one dimensional skillset. The reason: There might be guys with elite skillsets, but there's no such thing as an elite chin that can eat clean shots from 300lb men. DC could've ended up like Blaydes if he stood and traded with Derrick for much longer than he did. Past a certain weight threshold you can get very far off of just having a big punch, it's true in boxing too, Wilder has knocked out so many guys who are better technical boxers than him, everyone he's fought except Fury (and he nearly got him too in the first fight)
