It's really embarressing. I'm an AS fan. And I really don't care that he lost. But how do you lose the 4th round when your opponent is basically out on his feet? He's very much his own worst enemy.

Throughout his career, Anderson has delivered two types of performances:

1) Wow, that was insane. This guy is The Matrix.
2) Wow, what the fuck is he doing? Why isn't he fighting?

He just doesn't have the stamina he once had. Plus, I'm sure getting rocked & dropped prior to that didn't help either.

I agree. if he didn't fuck around with his back on the fence most of the round he may have got the nod.

Would be hard to get yourself back up after thinking you'd won by a highlight reel knock out.

He spent most of the fourth round leaning with his back against the cage and his hands down giving Bisping free shots.

Anyone who thinks he won that round needs to have their head examined.

Seemed like he was overconfident that Bisping would leave the perfect opening instead of just getting after it when you have a guy hurt.

I think the adrenaline dump was probably why. He was running around screaming and got no time to really rest.

I have no problem with Bisping getting the W, hopefully Anderson will show more fight IQ next time he fights.

He's too arrogant to change this late in his career. Weidman showed that if you don't fall for his mind games, you have a good chance of upsetting him.

Low reading comprehension. This thread wasn't about who won the round. Bisping won. That's what the thread was about. How Anderson let that round get away from him. Jeez....

he did not lose the 4th... he rocked bisping with a front kick... bisping did nothing

Blew his wad at the end of the third and couldn't get back into it after. Should have taken the Thai-agra in between rounds.

What the hell was he doing on the fence. If i had to guess he spent about 5 out of the 25 minutes on the fence just looking at bisping. Just standing there.

I get it if you're gona do it a little bit to play games but its gotta have a pay off. That was really bizarre. But thats silva for you, no other fighter does this.

Anderson just doesn't have the same power or kicks he used to have. Still won that hometown decision though

Either way, The Count got knocked the fuck out at the end of that 3rd round and was allowed to continue fighting after a breather.

Shit was hilarious.

Silva needs to retire imo

Anderson was straddling that fence so long Bisping had days to recover. He thought he had another highlight reel walk off KO over someone as polarizing as Bisping, turns out he didn't and it took him the entire 4th round to accept the fight again. Huge adrenaline dump. No excuses for Anderson though he could have won the fight I don't know why he decided not to.
