I'm seeing so many billionaires, politicians, and celebrities on social media and TV saying shit like "I'm ok paying 3 more dollars a gallon for gas if it means punishing evil Putin".

No shit Sherlock! YOU can afford $3 more a gallon for gas because you're an insulated rich asshole who hasn't had to make serious financial sacrifices your whole life.

There are millions of people in this country who will literally have less food in their homes because of the price of gas, many of which don't have much food in the home to begin with. With general inflation being what it is and now gas prices ripping through the roof, there are many people who are going to get pushed over the edge for amounts that seem like chump change to elites.

This is why we so desperately need rulers from all spectrums of society. We need working class and even poor people in significant policy making roles to balance out the utter delusion of rich people who think that life on the yacht is like life anywhere else.

Pretty much all the social issues that we are facing these days stem from the class divide, so all these differences we are told that we have like race, gender and whatnot, are all invented by the elite to keep us fighting amongst ourselves while they get richer and more powerful

Let's explain it with hungry hungry hippos

I am not seeing vast numbers of billionaires, politicians and celebrities saying this but I'm not on social media that much.

Actors, athletes, politicians, rich people in general are out of touch with the rest of society. They talk down to people but yet are still worshipped by millions....

Should probably blame the millions for worshipping them rather than the celebrities themselves.

If someone's willing to pay me $100 million to throw a ball in a hole i'm not gonna refuse it to try and stay in touch with society.

I get it... You start making 100 million a year, people tell you how great you are 24/7. At some point your ego just takes over, and you start spewing non-sense that a family living on 100k can't relate with.

I wouldn't say that's a universal truth. The ones who were born into wealth like Elon Musk and the Trump kids are sociopaths with the let them eat cake mentality. Your celebrities and athletes who came from poor to middle class backgrounds generally remember where they came from and aren't a bunch of cunts.

I'll be nice and say it's 50/50. A lot of top athletes, and actors spew non-sense all day long. Not all of them of course...
