The earliest WELL ROUNDED fighters?

and with Tsuyoshi Kohsaka. That was a trio/quartet (Smith)
I guess Frank left the Lion's Den when the 3 formed the Alliance.

And the Kondo thread had me looking for his early career. He fought 12x in 1 yr period. Going 8-3-1 with a headkick KO victory over Frank. Dude also went 3-1 against K1 goat Semmy Schilt.

Hespect.

Marco Ruas is the correct answer. Also, Don Frye, Frank Shamrock and Bas Rutten.

and bums around here keep sayin´that current fighters are better athlete...

most would point to Bas, Frank Shamrock and Mach Sakurai as the early generation of "well rounded" fighters

Marco Ruas was the first guy to even make the claim or pretense of being a complete NHB fighter, Matt Hume was probably the first guy to actually do it, and Frank Shamrock was the first guy to do it and win a UFC belt, although Saku and Fedor did it better, I don't think anyone with the possible exception of Jon Jones has ever eclipsed their total fight game.
Ruas was not pretending, he was doing it, already in the 1980s...

'' I heard he once fucked a man to death on account of he was snoring'' Wow Snoring is not an excuse to kill a man to death by anally raping him
Yeah, I can't say I agreed with his methods, effective though they were.
