I'm not saying Barrera wouldn't have won but it's well documented Nas had a horrendous camp for that fight as well as his head not being in the right place.

Barrera is the OG BJ Penn of boxing for those that don't know in that he comes from a wealthy family and still acheived so much in a combat sport.

I know all that, but honestly I don't think it would have made a difference. Hamed was a bit like O'Malley in that he was the ultimate style over substance fighter, who had a style that was begging to be exposed by any solid world class boxer - just like every other Ingle camp fighter.

Good training camp or not, Hamed's random shitty style was never equipped to deal with what Barrera brought to the table. He knew it too, given he was basically forced into the fight by HBO.

Barrera would have sonned any version of Hamed.
