The DOG Challenge

Inspired by @2bet I present to you a new challenge! No, not trying to pee with a boner but another contest. I dub this one the DOG challange. The goal is simple: Outlast your fellow degens by either having the longest streak or gaining the most units.

Heres how it will work:

• You will make a pick for every event. If you do not make a pick for an upcoming event you are axed.
• Every pick you make will be like placing a 1u bet. Your total units won will be added and accumulated throughout your run in the contest.
• You must join at the upcoming RDA vs Lee event or your picks will not count.
• Moneyline odds only.
• + odds only with the exception of dead pick 'em (say -110 for fighter "A" and -110 for fighter "B")
• You'll receive a push if the fight ends in a draw or NC.
• Can't change your pick after you've made one.
• If you make a pick and the fight gets cancelled you have to make another one.
• You will start the contest with one "Gold Orb".

You may use your "Gold orb" once to revive yourself back into the contest should the fighter you pick lose his or her bout. Simply use the "Gold orb" image in your post after a losing event with the text, "AND NOW IT'S GETTING HOT!".
I will also accept "THIS PARTY'S GETTING CRAZY!" or "JACKPOT!". Using a "Gold orb" will erase the unit profit you have accumulated throughout the challenge.

• You will also start the contest with one "Devil Star"

You may use your 'Devil Star" once to negate the "+ odds only" rule to bet on a favorite of your choosing should you not like any dogs on any particular upcoming card. Simply use the "Devil Star" image in your post before an upcoming event with the text "I MUST HAVE SLIPPED HOO RAH!"

ODDS WILL BE DETERMINED BY YOU!​

That's right ladies and germs. When you make a pick you will be required to post a screen shot of the odds from a sportsbook of your choosing. Dog hunting is all about jumping on at the right time isn't it? if you can get odds on an opener, great! if you want to wait it out and see how good the line gets, that's great too!

SCREENSHOTS MUST BE FROM THE BOOK ITSELF NOT A TRACKER LIKE BFO OR BETMMA.

If there's anything open ended that needs answering let me know otherwise please don't clog the thread with nonsense bickering and dick measuring.

Ah ah ah Jordo. I should clarify and I will amend the rule. I need the screenshot from the page on the book itself not on BFO. This way you can't just choose a spot on the line on BFOs website.

I will say I believe the "proving" part of the challenge will be the most difficult part especially if any participant doesn't have a sportbook to get odds from. I will say it's easy enough to sign up for one even without making a deposit and if it becomes too difficult for some I may have to amend the rule to say the date and time of the screen shotted odds from BFO or whatever must match the time of your post or something.

I will also be translating odds to the American format for feel free to post however you see them.

Great idea @Naught2Sixty, but yeah, the requirement to individually post odds from within the book is too onerous. I presently only use 1, and the idea of having to sign up for 10+ more to get the best odds for this contest is too steep a requirement.

Why not allow us to use BFO for the current time? It should be easy to check the lines at the time the screenshot is posted with the time the post goes up.

I'm not trying to make it difficult for anyone. If you can give me current odds from a book, that would be preferable. If not then the odds at the time you're posting them must be distinguishable.

Keep in mind the purpose of the rule is to just circumvent anyone trying to catch an odd they see on there that dipped to say +300 for a like an hour yesterday but are trying to claim it like they got it today? Ya dig?

Cool idea, I'll probably forget to post at some point but I'm gonna try to play this one as consistently as possible. Also when using the Gold orb thing, may I say "MY BALLS WAS HOT" instead of the other two phrases?

Will post pick later in the week, might sign up for a cpl more books just to see if I can get better odds but Dimes will most likely have the best by later in the week anyway.
