The curious case of Frank Gore

Not first ballot, but i believe eventually he will. His numbers are pretty comparable to LaDanian. His first few years, he played for and behind some pretty putrid 49er teams/O-Lines. He was seeing 8 man fronts and still managed to put up some pretty solid numbers. His second year after sharing his rookie year carries with Kevan Barlow, he put up 1000 yard seasons 9 out of 11 seasons.

Also a stand up dude for the community. He did a lot for the bay area community. Never blew anyone off from what i saw after training camp practices etc.

I hope he does, he's an awesome guy. During his off season a couple of years ago he came to this boxing gym I was sparring at to get some private training. He was having fun talking trash to this Miami Dolphin practice squad player while hitting the pads... super intense dude.

Was able to talk to him for like 30 minutes afterwards, surprised me with all of his boxing/MMA knowledge.

So with approximately 600 more yards Frank Gore will move into top 5 all-time in rushing yards, and 6 more TD will move into the top 20 in rushing TD.

Saying he moves into top 5 in yards and top 20-15 all time in TD does he make the HoF? He isn't a household name, doesn't have a lot of playoff accolades, no Super Bowl ring, does his longevity in the regular season put him in the HoF?
As a Niners fan I spent years getting dug out of bad situations by his running downhill. He's a workhorse God of durability.

He absolutely belongs in the HoF in my opinion.
