A) They are both great characters by great actors and can't be compared to one another.

B) The Crow is better. Ledger's Joker is primarily praised due to the actor's untimely death.

C) The Joker is better. Lee's Crow is primarily praised due to the actor's untimely death.

D) They aren't that great. Both characters are primarily praised due to their actor's untimely deaths

Eventually we'll make it through these times of racism and actors painting themselves in white face will be a thing of the past.

Brandon Lee The Crow by a long shot.. much better movie to compared to that trash! Heath ledger Joker is overrated as hell.

E) They are both great characters by great actors and both characters receive extra praise due to their actor's untimely deaths affording them another level of mystique.

(C), and Brandon Lee definitely never came within 100 miles of sniffing the distinction of being a "great actor".

I much prefer The Crow, but Ledger was out and out the better actor of the two and it isn't even remotely close. Lee had a fantastic role, but he was hardly a great actor.

The Crow character was more enigmatic, IMO, and was helped by the film/story, which I felt was also superior to THE DARK KNIGHT.

exactly, dude wouldnt have been in the role if his last name wasnt Lee.

I think The Crow was Lee's "breakthrough" role. The one that distinguished him from his dad and showed critics that he could be a serious actor. Then he died. He probably could've made some great movies.

Agreed. Obviously we don't know for sure, but based on the crow I think he had a good career ahead of him.

Ledger was amazing though

Doesn't matter to me. I remember liking both performances. I need to re-watch The Crow, haven't seen it in years.

Coincidentally just saw this video the other day:

Crazy foreshadowing. Brandon seemed to be a thinker. RIP to them both.

Joker and it's not even close. Brandon was a decent actor, and The Crow was an entertaining film. But Ledger's performance is one for the ages. His Joker is the standard against which all Comic Book Movies are measured.

This is like comparing Ronda to Mayweather.

*EDIT*

I failed to notice this was the video provided by TS.

The Crow via superior jokes
