The comission is messing up

It's called a legal disclaimer stupid, companies cover their asses against legal liability in case you get a virus. Of course it doesn't remove the risk completely, it simply reduces the risk of you passing it onto others, and the more people wear them (properly) the more the reduction of the risk is for everyone present, although of course a small risk still exists. No one is suggesting otherwise, which is why things like social distancing are still encouraged. You are fucking retarded man, and so are the people repeating this bullshit.

The key word is "properly". With every study that is done stating they could have "some" significance that is the ultimate factor. 79 percent don't wash their face diapers after each use and 8 percent don't wash them at all. Two-Thirds of people wearing the disposable ones wear then multiple times. Then they walk around touching surfaces that others touch. Plus the same people wearing them aren't wearing goggles as well. You can take all the states with mandates and they states that don't enforce such nonsense and look at all the data and it shows they really aren't doing anything significant at all. If it makes you "feel" safe then you do you. But many see that as just as retarded as you see people who think their worthless Petri Dishes.

Sure, a lot of stupid people don't wear them properly, that's the whole point of educating people and the whole point of the thread. I agree that it's dumb to do any of those things, who's advocating for that? That says nothing about it being pointless when used properly, and what people are advocating is for proper use, so what exactly is the problem? Your first point is that people don't wear them properly, therefore suggesting that proper use does in fact make sense. Then you say that wearing them is completely worthless and retarded, which doesn't follow from the first part. You sound confused. Are you one of those "don't tread on me" pussies who just won't do it on principle? If so, just say so and leave it at that.

And where are you getting all these figures and percentages? Are you surveying people next to the bathroom sink? What's your source? And again, this is so glaringly obvious that it's dumb to have to repeat it. It's not about removing 100% of the risk, simply about reducing it and improving the odds, through something that has pretty much 0 downsides. How exactly is wearing 0 masks and freely spitting on stuff any better? You yourself admitted that proper use makes sense, so why not do it and call for that, instead of saying it doesn't matter? Your nose and mouth obviously emit droplets, but your eyes don't. If you work in a high risk situation e.g. Hospital, testing facility, etc. you then wear a face shield on top of the mask, and people do wear them, so you're wrong about that too. You're not touching people's masks or licking them, you mainly want to reduce droplet emission. After that, simply washing your hands and not touching your face isn't rocket science.

Just an FYI, as soon as someone calls masks "face diapers" it's usually a good heads up to disregard their opinion.

80% of people using cloth face masks don't wash after each use, 8% don't wash at all, new study finds | Regional | nbcrightnow.com

The fact is even if these cloth diapers are worn like they are in an OR setting they only maybe will reduce transmission slightly. The fact is most people are never gonna wear them properly. I wish the majority of my customers wouldn't wear them in the first place. I have a shit loads of studies saved discrediting face masks usefulness. But Maskdebating is pointless. But if you want to wear one to feel "safe" then you do you.

Lol... I looked up the long version of that: https://money.yahoo.com/americans-avoiding-public-spaces-many-130000963.html

"Of the 1,006 adults surveyed, nearly half (49%) prefer to wear reusable-cloth face masks, but about 8 of 10 (79%) said they do not wash their masks after each use, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)."

1,000 people lol. That's like polling 20 people per state. Let that sink in. Hardly representative of the 300 million of different incomes, ages, backgrounds, etc that live in the country. It's a pathetic sample size with an insane margin of error. You make claims like this is a proven thing, when it isn't, not even close. The margin of error is astronomical. The reality is we just do not know these numbers and they're not fact. And we do not know the exact effectiveness of the masks. We just know that they are likely to help on some level (you seem to admit this) and that the inconvenience is minimal.

You say "like they are in the OR", which is a ridiculous exaggeration. All that means is wearing a disposable mask over your nose and mouth, and then throwing it away for a new one and keeping your hands clean.

A lot of people are never gonna wear them properly, sure, these are dummies who would be dirty either way, with or without mask, although probably even dirtier without it. Therefore your conclusion is to become one of those people and make the problem worse. Big brain shit here for sure.

Did you expect more from a bush league that can't get their shit together after so many years with the rules, the judging and maintaining a legitimate ranking system?

Ufc isn't the sport of mma, it's their own version they virtually monopilzed and forced down every ones throats.
ruok?

Read the box of masks
“This mask does not remove the risk of contracting any disease or infection”

are you aware of the difference between the words remove and reduce? Moreover, they help prevent the SPREAD more than they reduce the chance of contracting it yourself..

It's not about my safety, it's about reducing the spread. You sneeze or cough, you cover your mouth, why, to reduce the spread of any germs.
Me, I've been wearing a "mask" for a couple years now.

What about the shit loads of studies crediting face masks usefullness? It's easy to just pick one side. Let's look at the crapdemic from all possible sides.
How would you treat me prepandemic?
