I swear this is getting so annoying these days.... This "but he controlled the center of the cage" excuse needs to go. This was made by constant point fighters like bisping, and edgar, and it was used for the condit vs diaz fight as a huge excuse as to why Condit won that fight by throwing leg kicks... Regardless, this is a horrible excuse as to why anyone would ever win the fight...
Most recently i keep hearing "Bisping controlled the center of the cage!" so what? he threw air jabs and circled... while getting out struck and out damaged, yet because of these horrendous excuses for a scoring system this is even allowed and whats worse is backed by fans who use it as an excuse for their favorite fighter's win.
Pure insanity, very disappointed with the MMA community and its judging fanbase.
