Well for one thing, the clue is in the name: Stormfront in the real world is the world's largest neo-Nazi website. More importantly, she massacred every black person she could during her fight with Kimiko and her brother. She didn't need to do that, even for a false flag. She just likes killing non-Whites. And after killing Kimiko's brother, she calls him a, "Yellow bastard".
Honestly I just saw her killing people. Didn't notice the race angle. Like I said before, she is annoying either way.

Makes me wonder if they picked a Jewish actress to play Stormfront so she wouldn't be used as a real life alt-right icon.

If so, they are crediting the Alt-Right with too much common sense. Hans Landa, the Jew Hunter from Inglorious Basterds, has a huge fan base among neo-Nazis because he's portrayed as being charming, ruthless and highly intelligent. They seem willing to ignore the fact that Landa switches sides to the Allies and assassinates Hitler:rolleyes:

That's one thing I wasn't feeling about season 3, either make him super powerful or don't... stop fluctuating.

There's no way his sister should have been able to stop him. For fuck's sake, he has telekinesis, just throw her a mile away and run off. Why'd he keep trying to outrun her like a game of tag?

Also, if he can own Homelander he can own Stormfront.

He did throw her through the second floor wall of a building. Kimiko just walked it off. He was probably pulling his punches anyway.

He didn't own Homelander. He got the drop on him because Homelander is so arrogant he didn't regard the kid as a real threat. He dropped tons of concrete on Homelander and the next time we see him, Homelander doesn't even have a scratch. It's like me sucker-punching Jon Jones. I might hurt or even stun him if I'm lucky and catch him with his guard down. But as soon as he recovers, he will beat my head into a canoe without breaking a sweat.

Kimiko's brother had one power - telekinesis - to a high level. Stormfront has electrical generation powers, superhuman strength and durability. The kid was simply outmatched by a more powerful opponent. Also, it's implied that he gained his powers relatively recently. Stormfront, like the rest of the Vought Supes, would have got her powers as a baby injected with Compound V. She's had years of practice fighting and killing people with them.

wtf is up with this new release schedule for the episodes.

they are trying to do the network tv thing and release them once a week sets a bad precendent with amazon.

im not that pissed be cause I mostly pay for prime for the shipping but if netflix starts doing this then I will be annoyed because it will be like they are milking their subscribers for cash setting precedent for more nickel and diming in other areas.

While I hate it from a consumer standpoint, it makes sense business wise. It's one of their biggest shows, if I was them, this would also be my strategy to entice the audience to more than just a month of subscription.

You mean a clone of Homelander? Yeah, I think they'll go down a different route

Not so sure.

There is an underlying theme in every TV show and IMO for this show (so far) it is identity crisis.

Starlight, Homelander, Hughie, Butcher, A-train, Deep, Maeve, all go through it, to some extent.

Black Noir, as he was written, is the true epitome of that, being a clone and all. His one and only purpose, the thing he was created for, is right there in front of him, and always just out of his reach. So close and yet so far. This has to be excruciating for him. This is one of the greatest plots that can happen in this show (apart from Becca actually being alive). I'd hate for them to just abandon this in the series.

I hope so. I’m not sure how to make sense of his crying about the news though

I know she's tough as nails but I still think he should've been able to keep her back. Telkenisis is a STRONG power.

Yeah, collapsed a tunnel on him, dumped a bus on it, and ran.

And that was like dumping a box of pool noodles on Jon Jones before running.

I just finished the comics and there is a (albeit) short scene just on that, that explains a lot. Not sure how it ties into the TV show, especially if they don't go that route

I'm on episode 1 of season 2 the deep losing his shit at the water park and asking the kids if they knew the loneliness of swimming the Mariana trench was hilarious and the re enactment with the butcher. black noir kills people in gruesome ways

Also, it means they finish the series by the time The Mandalorian drops on October 30th. They don't have to go head to head with one of the biggest shows on TV.

I really don't get when stormfront has the sister and that guy runs and tackles her off

Or how he just ran with his back turned when he could've just slammed her around like the hulk with loki

They were both on the edge of the roof. Stormfront was trying to strangle Kimiko. If he'd used his TK powers, he might have shoved them both off the rooftop.

She sold the character damn well in the scene, the look of absolute hatred and disgust on her face when she sees a non white bystander was scary. Then she just goes on a goddamn rampage.

Stormfront comic or tv version is a goddamn psychopath who makes Homelander look like an ethical dude. Stormfront is such a villain he / she makes behind the scenes Homelander actually look heroic.

Yeah, it's a close race but I have to give the title to Stormfront at the moment. Obviously, Homelander is a monster. Sadistic, manipulative and vindictive. Willing to murder men, women and children in order to advance his agenda. But there's just a glimmer of what might be redeeming features there. He saved Stillwell's baby when he could just as easily left it to die. And he seems genuinely fond of his son, and is trying to be a, "good" father in his own twisted way.

Stormfront, by comparison, seems to have zero virtues. She murders a number of black people while chasing Kimiko and her brother simply because she can, and clearly enjoys it. If anything, she's even better at hiding her true nature and manipulating people than Homelander is.

Watched episode 3 last night. Wow. Stormfront is one crazy bitch.

The best part of the episode was the whale scene, holy shit was I laughing, especially at Butchers line when he emerged from it. Epic.

So far, the season has delivered (IMO) big time. Damn shame I'm now out of town for work again the next 2 weeks, and have to wait to watch the next 2 episodes when I get back home on the 24th.

Episode 4 was a bit slow in comparison to the rest of the series, wish I didn't have to wake a week for each episode from here out.
