The Best Muay Thai skills from each weight classes

Glory doesnt have Rodtangs weight and Petch is GOAT there
Yeah I know anything under 145 is pretty much japan territory but GLORY, RISE and K-1 still hold amazing fighters. Doumbe and Periera are insanely high level talent ONE is missing out on. Vahkitov too. Its better to say ONE has some of the best MT fighters on earth cause other orgs hold better fighters in certain weight classes. Obviously Petrosyan is still one of the best in the world even with his miles.

Filling in the blanks for ya: BW: Pyotr Yan (He trains at Tiger Muai Thai)

Yan has some nice kicks and sweeps but he stands bladed like a boxer and has a tight high guard (Thai style is elbows flared out)

I guess he took the best from what Muai Thai had to offer him in training and adjusted for his MMA game. If you use Muai Thai posture with elbows flared out you are exposed to left/right hooks piercing your guard BECASE OF 4 OZ Gloves. With 16 OZ gloves it aint as critical. Capisce?

Huh? Striking is striking, you can't rank strictly muay thai because there is none in MMA. All strikers have adjusted their style accordingly.

Not a lot of actual good muay thai in the UFC. For BW, Tom Duquenoi or however you spell his last name was decent

HW: Ciryl Gane
LHW: Maurício Rua
MW: Anderson Silva
WW: Leon Edwards
LW: Rafael Fiziev
FW: José Aldo
BW: Petr Yan
FLW: Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke

Dejdamrong might be the best fighter in mma when it comes to purely muay thai, even though he came into the sport past his best.

Not the best, but Matt Brown's style is closer to "Thai" style than most fighters in the UFC.

I really can't think of any of the men who really fight with a Muaythai heavy style, Barboza and Aldo maybe but even then that's a stretch. Roundtree fights with a heavy Muaythai style, but at a pretty low level.

The Women have JJ and Valentina who show off high level Muaythai, there was also a Thai women who won recently with a very Muaythai based style.

Fighting in a Muaythai stance is asking for trouble in MMA with the take downs and lack of head movement, although it would counter the calf kick that is popular these days.

What a shit take. They have the best kickboxers and muay thai fighters in the world of their weight classes. Some decent MMA fighters too. Once again showing your ignorance of not 1 but 3 sports. Baffling
I agree the average striking level seems higher in ONE FC but the overall grappling appears lower which makes sense

Are you talking about prime versions of these fighters? Most of these guys suck now. And if you are talking about prime then Gane shouldn't be there.
