The Best kick-boxing skills from each weight classes

It's kickboxing, Max is a better striker, but Max is mostly a puncher. Kid can throw them hands but he later became a kickboxer.

Hands are good enough to carry you in kickboxing as long as you can defend kicks.

If a BJJ guy is subbing guys with just primarily an RNC, that doesn't mean they're not good BJJ practicioners.

Cowboy beat Barboza. And Cowboy had a legit muay thai career too he fought on a kings birthday card in Thailand
And also that Cowboy submitted him so I think that is a factor when talking about Kickboxing as they don’t go to the ground.

Yeah I hate Cowboy with a passion. So sad cowboy beat Barboza.

I always wanted to see Prime Fedor vs Cerrone.
I get the feeling you don’t like a good amount of the UFC roster lmao.

Yeah that's true, he fought all the way down to 135 i think i think he prob could have made to 125 if MM could make the cut.

Kid never actually lost in MMA due to getting outstruck in his career. He always got wrestlefucked/grapplefucked and lost
There was that one fight where he busts his head against the canvas going for a takedown and the ref stopped it, was a bit of a weird stoppage imo.

Still I don't think Max reps kickboxing. He's a very good boxer and striker tho he does have kicks here and there

He dropped him with a jab and RNCd him. I'd say striking played a big factor in that win

Not necessarily but God Cowboy. He prob thinks he can win against Fedor too, I think he may have mentioned fighting Fedor once I think.

Against Thompson? I don't know it's been a long time.

Kid should have never went back to wrestling. His elbow injury ruined him I think.

RIP

You think Kid an MMA striker with a wrestling base that wasn't even a real FW is the best FW striker so you're opinion is obviously trash

Machida Karate
Wonderboy Karate
Pettis TKD though it did cross my mind i do think it can be argued that Pettis is up there for kickboxing
MAx doesn't really kick

??? Plenty of pure kickboxers came from traditional martial arts backgrounds, so why would it disqualify fighters in MMA? Kyokushin alone produced guys like Feitosa, Hug, LeBanner, Schilt, etc.

Cuz they fought in kickboxing? I don't think Leb and Schilts is from Kyokushin.

Machida and thomspon reps karate well. I can see Pettis repping kickboxing, but I like to think of himm ore of TKD guy who trained kickboxing.

Imagine unironically thinking Cowboy is the best kickboxer in 155, Till at 170, and mousasi in 205.

Seriously your combat sport knowledge is atrocious.

I never said I know a lot but my pinkie toenail probably knows more about MMA than all your brain cells combined, so stfu and go to bed kid.

It doesn't take a lot to know that kid yamamoto is not the best kickboxer in 145. Or that cerrone is not the best kickboxer at 155. And till, the guy who fight nothing like a traditional kickboxer.

I can name at least 20 featherweight that has far better kickboxing skills than kid.

Aldo has far better kickboxing then KID ever did.
Hard to say that when KID was hanging with the very best in K1. You can say mma kickboxing, but in actual kickboxing KID has a stronger resume. Aldo had some nice leg kick set-ups though. But it was always the same combo, 1-2 left hook body shot to right leg kick, or leg kicks with no set up. He just wasn't fighting fighters with kickboxing/muay thai base. He's also not using a lot of head kicks or knees. Yes he got the jumping knee on Cub and the turn around knee on Mendez, but he wasn't knee heavy in close range/clinch or doing combos setting up the knee.
