Reeves has said hes supposed to be a "proto type" joker, in that hes not fully the joker yet..but sure looks and seems like it.

Guess im gonna go see the mvie this weekend, I need to see it at last anyway.

Im one of the biggest bat dorks around here, just sitting in a cinema for 3 hours on a weekend sounds rough for me haha

They could go the route that its part of joker's "plan" to get caught and tossed in Arkham for some other diabolical plot of his. Joker is insane like that, so it works if its written well.

Not sure he would plan it but since they introduced the idea of a flooded Gotham and basically arkham city, joker could theoretically rise to the king of that domain.

Alright, so that scene was legit af and should have stayed in the final cut. I'm fucking sold on this new Joker. He doesn't have to be the main villain in the sequel, but having Batman make a couple visits to Arkham and having these twisted philosophical conversations with him until he final breaks loose.....dude, inject this into my veins.

Oh, and this is creepy as hell, fam:

Trying WAY too hard.

OK, but this line. This line is so, so good:

"OK, OK. I'll tell you what I really think. I think....you only care about his motives whether he loves or hates you. I think somewhere, deep down, you're just terrified because you're not sure he's wrong, huh? You think they deserved it. You think they deserved it."

If that's true, that says alot about this version of Batman, as being the worst film adaptation of the character ever.

Every other Batman would reject that, by the fact he's trying to STOP Riddler from killing these victims he supposedly believes deserve to be murdered horribly. Instead he'd rather have their corruption publicly exposed in a criminal trial for all to see and sentenced to decades in prison, alone with only their misery to keep them company. For many, that's worse than death.

That's real vengeance, not for them to be memorialized as honorable public servants massacred by a mad man.

Well, it's obviously not true. It's just the Joker trying to get under Batman's skin.

Are people sending death threats too critics who gave it negative reviews? Like some few did with TDK Rises.

It's all solid, but I'm always scratching my head at why people think Batman is such a great thing.

Well, it's obviously not true. It's just the Joker trying to get under Batman's skin.

And he was wrong, both in being untrue and in the attempt to get under Batman's skin, which further weakens his credibility as an antagonist.

One of the more subtle aspects of Ledger's Joker was... he never lied and he was always right, with the exception of the riverboat bombs. Everything else, from predicting Batman would go to China to abduct 'the squeiler,' Dent just needing 'a little push' to fall into madness, to his philosophy about nobody caring if a truck of soldiers gets blown up but everybody loses their minds if a mayor is assassinated... he was right throughout the film.

A Joker that is completely unpredictable, 'correct," and meticulous in his plan to cause absolute chaos throughout Gotham City is a far far more threatening villain than a deformed, pathetic, and 'wrong' Joker.

And the fact 'The Batman' would bother to seek that Joker's advice in regards to any investigation, as if he could be insightful to anything Batman wouldn't already know.... aug... makes that one of the weakest Batmans ever.

On top of that, Joker DIDN'T give him any relevant information.

Good thing that scene was cut. It wouldn't even be considered good fan service.

Joker tricked batman into saving Dent instead of Rachel so no he didn't always tell the truth

Thanks for the correction.

So he lied once, and was wrong once.

Still better than this Joker, who's 0-1, so far.

Well no one will ever top Ledgers joker. Phoenix can come close depending on how the sequel goes.

Hang on...Joker is gonna have a sequel? Whos his villain? Prozac?

Joker 2 is already signed on from the director and JP. Not sure what the story will be about but I'm sure I'll watch it. Likely it won't be nearly as good as the first

I really really liked this movie but it also made me long for Jack Nicholson dancing around an art museum to Prince. You can have a darker take on Batman but still make it fun. I cant imagine rewatching this over and over through the years like I have with most Batman movies. Pattinson crushed it though. Loved his take on the character. Catwoman and Penguin were excellent as well.

I think joker did give him information.

Bruce thought it was a political crime. Joker told him that it was personal and Riddler had been planning for years. Therefore, Riddler was most likely a child when his parents were wronged by the Mayor and Commissioner.

Then, Bruce can look back and see when those paths crossed
