Dragonlord Fantasy Casting Vol. 22 - THE BATMAN

Last week, fans were shocked and outraged that Robert Pattinson was reportedly the frontrunner to take the mantle of the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves' The Batman which is said to feature a much younger Batman in a detective-noir driven story. Naturally I have my choices on who would be a great Bruce Wayne as well as the rest of the supporting characters and villains.

Edit: Watch this montage video of Aidan Turner in And Then There Were None to see why he would be a great Bruce Wayne (or Namor).

Brian Shaw of Hafthor Bjornson for Bane.
Size comparison against someone everyone knows.

I think Bane plays better as a supporting villain in film, and I want his intimidation to be immediately felt.

So where do we stand? Is RP still the choice for Batman?

I love the Alfred/ Bane (& Bane) castings, but I wouldn't cast Benicio out to sea.

The Riddler: Angela Lansbury

Seriously.

She broke the Enigma Code during WW2 and becomes a villain in her elder years.

Motivation...im not sure. Maybe a grudge against Bruce's grandfather who made money due to investing in a German business in 1936.

Those are great choices. Keep the dialogue to a minimum.

Karl Urban is the only answer! Age be dammed!
