Decided to catch up on the Dragonball Super manga. The Moro arc was actually decent but this current one has been pretty lame. They need two Dragonballs and they can wish to be the strongest in the universe? Other than Vegeta getting some time to shine the best part of the arc was Frieza showing up.

It’s less powerful and it’s basically a monkey’s paw. They give something to get something from the dragon.

Good list but then you included Darker than Black, and Baccano. Imo both suck ass.

I love nearly all those anime, but I think AOT is better. No story is more interesting than AOTs in anime. Most of those are good due to characters and the fights....important aspects but the narrative is the most important aspect to me and many others. Nothing beats AOT in that department.

Yeah man, it's all about the narrative for me first.

AOT is incredible. It's a 10 for me, or just in an elite category. FMAB, Steins (still need to watch zero) Berserk (1997, Golden arc trilogy) Death Note, Psycho Pass, and Legend of Galactic Heroes (80's one) are all in that 10-ish range. I'm sure I'm missing a couple.

Sword Art (S1/2) could have been up there, but they rushed through so much early on it was jarring. I still really liked it.

When I started these, I couldn't stop, unless I forced myself for delayed gratification, like AOT.

I have 3 episodes left of final season part 2. I've been saving them for my long weekend, which is finally here.

So there's going to be a final season part 3?

If I had to pick a fav, it's either AOT or FMAB. AOT has the better narrative, while FMAB has the better characters.

There are a lot of great anime like Bebop, and Ghost in a Shell Stand alone complex, but I always prefer serialized shows over episodic.

I can respect that. But I dropped AOT in the 3rd season. It's not FMA/B level for me. Haikyuu is an easy 10 as well.

Some characters are tropey in AOT, but its due to the sheer number of them. You gotta make characters memorable in a short amount of time... The cast in FMB is much smaller so there's more time to develop each, but the characters are written well.

Its a shitty thing to name a season, Final Part 3 lol, but its coming soon i think.

I wont lie the ending was soul crushing. I haven't finished it yet. I stopped right after that arc. I had to take my media server offline to move some files onto my new setup and it's taking a bit to move all this shit.

You're still got more heartbreak ahead my friend.

Ugh Black Beard deciding to be shit heel going after Boa, good to see Boa isn't an easy target and that Rayliegh still has the presence make Marines and Yonko wary. Good increase in Bounty to Blackbeard and Boa. Though I will Argue despite Black Beard being dangerous Luffys feat of toppling 2 Yonko should have him higher but I guess the danger of crew makes Black Beard more dangerous to the Marines , would be quite the Arc of Luffy decides to rescue a Marine. I wonder what Rayleigh's Bounty is. I would argue since he is still designated as the Dark King he is at least 4 Billion Berri.

Bruh the full on OP spoilers are even more hype. The new Pacifista model Seraphim might look similar to a young Mihawk but also have wings that may or may not hint at Lunarians also , Rayleigh didn't come alone and he brought someone that has a deep connection to the Kuja.

So the Seraphim look similar to Warlords, but they're kids.. and all the children from Punk Hazard were taken to Vegapunk. Hmm.

So Koby is probably getting handed into Cross Guild, right? Koby/Alvida reunion.

Did you finish the season? I agree the jar head kid was a bit dull but it had it's purpose. And the ending of that arc was soul crushing lmao.

Man I started this up again and the very next arc is awesome (prison island). Easily my favorite arc so far. All the characters were great, the background stories were interesting. I pretty much dropped the show at the absolute worst time. Still not completely done with the arc yet but I'm pretty sure I'm near the end.

There's few of them but the good ones are REALLY good(Hiromu Arakawa of FMA eg.).
